Had a lovely time, I’m horrible at proper food pictures but it was simple and to the point with epic hometown service. The sangria (red) I ordered I sucked down two of them and I don’t even like wine they were so good! The garlic bread I got with cheese and it melted in my mouth and had the perfect “cheese pull”. Thankfully I also ordered one side of meatball with some sauce to top it off and I almost fell out of my seat it was so good. The person I was with ordered the 10in sausage onion and something else topping pizza and the thin crust was the only right kind of crispy. I wish I could remember the name of our server/bartender but she was nothing but amazing. Can’t wait to come again I really want to try the anti pasto salad

We had my son’s wedding reception here on 2/21/26. We can say enough about the service! The staff was exceptional and very accommodating! The pizzas were on point and refreshed regularly! Thank you all for making our event seamless!

I’ll Start off by saying they have the best garlic bread around. Front and staff (Lizzy I think) was less than pleasant. We walked in without a reservation expecting a wait, pleasantly surprised we only waited a minute or two. We were seated at the table directly next to the door that constantly opens and all 5 of us including 3 kids were cold. I asked nicely if we could wait for a table not near the door (that is the only table near the door) and it seemed like the largest inconvenience and was then told with an attitude sure it will be 45 mins at least. Parties coming in directly after that were not told 45mins therefore I know that was an in spite of comment. We left and are now sitting at DiCarlos for my first time and the staff here has been great!

The atmosphere is wonderful. Doesn’t look like much when you walk in, but when you get to one of the dining rooms, it’s warm and cozy. I don’t typically care for the exposed HVAC system, but I do prefer it to covering what appears to be the original carved/molded ceiling work with a drop ceiling.

Our server was lovely. She was friendly and personable. She was busy but it didn’t appear to bother her. Would enjoy having her again.

The food is very tasty. Mom ordered the Beef Ravioli with the Mushroom Meatless Sauce, I ordered the Cheese Ravioli with the Mushroom Meat Sauce, and because they don’t serve appetizers, we both ordered the Side House Salad. The ravioli was not cooked long enough for my preference, though it’s not an issue to deduct stars. I have a thing about texture in food. That’s a me thing. The flavors were all there though, very tasty. And let say the garlic bread is amazing. You get what can only be described as a slab, not a piece. It has just the right amount of garlic butter that it’s moist with crunchy edges, but not so much that it oozes out as you take a bite or runs down your arm and chin. Perfect. The way they do portions is great. We both ordered the lunch portion which is described as being a half versus a full portion that you get at the a la carte or dinner level. This was the perfect amount of food. Well, with the slab of bread you get with the salad, and the slab you get with dinner it was little too much. But the bread was so good I had to eat it all. Mom only ate one of her slabs and we both refused to take the other home. On the way to drop her off she said she didn’t want to take because she’d just over-stuff herself eating it shortly after she got home, and I said that’s pretty much the same reason I didn’t take it, because I’d probably eat it in my car from her house to mine. It is really, really good.

I saw a pizza come out to a table while we were finishing up it had the THINNEST crust. My favorite. Will definitely go ack to to give THAT a try.

Clean, quiet, and super duper good pizza. Sausage/pepperoni was excellent. Minestrone was decent but lacked something special for me. I don’t add salt pepper to any of my meals generally but definitely would have enhanced flavor. The waitress was pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back to South Milwaukee and can’t wait for another pizza.

We came to Barbiere’s because we just heard of it recently and have never been before.

I wasn’t that hungry and thought l, I was going to get something small, well unfortunately I ate everything I ordered plus some of what my wife ordered.

Here is what we ordered…

::Minestrone:: (Came w/ Dinner)
Soup came out right away, good tempature very tasty.

::Antipasto Salad:: (Came w/ Dinner)
Fresh and great flavor!

::Garlic Bread:: (Came w/ Dinner)
It was the best we have had in a long time. Dripping and soaked with butter.

::Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza:
Crisp crust very good

::Meat Lasagna::
Super cheesey. Very good and flavorful.

::Beef Ravioli, w/ meat sauce::
Outstanding!

::Ice Cream:: (Came w/ Dinner)
Good as well. The vanilla and Spumoni.

The food.
Great price for everything you get!

*Cons*
– The presentation of the food does not do the actually taste any justice, it’s great food.

We rented Barbiere’s for our wedding reception and they did an amazing job. The food, drinks and service were top tier. Several of our guests have told us we had their favorite food at any wedding they’ve attended. We can’t thank everyone at Barbiere’s enough!

OMG, this is a top tier, bring everyone right now type of deliciousness! Wife and I can honestly say this was the freshest ingredients Italian restaurant we’ve ever had! From the garlic bread double dipped double baked, fresh cheeses of the lasagna, the crisp to the salad and the taste of the soup! Italian sausage sandwich was so flavored with just the love that Italy itself breathes! I’ve lost 237 pounds in 17 months, and usually eat the proper macros to lose wait and lift heavy to assure muscle growth, on cheat days I carb up, usually have a nasty crash the next day, after loading the carbs here and nothing bad all next day! That means it was all fresh and yes I even had the ice cream! I’m telling you this place will now be a staple for us! First ever I would of given 100 stars!
