Got drawn in by the colorful building. Visited ~3pm on a Sunday, no wait. The chips came out warm and the salsas fresh and tasty. The spicy yellow smoky salsa was my favorite, but the rest of the table demolished the mild red. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They have Bolivian/Mexican food, which we hadn’t had before. The meats and yuca were so good! You could tell the food is made in house and big portions too.

Such a lovely, cozy, and authentic restaurant. The staff is incredibly sweet and kind. Food is absolutely delicious!!! The lovely woman at the front recommended the avocado salad and we loved it! Every course was delicious! The chips, cheese, and salsa were good and the main entrees were incredible! Would definitely come back when I visit big bear again!

Wonderful place and aqua from the crowd! Super clean and Gabby is very friendly and welcoming. You have to try the Bolivian Saltenas! Steak and chicken are both delicious

Staff was super friendly. We went when there was a big party so took a little bit to order and wait for our food. However it was cooked to order.
I got the salmon which comes with their avocado salad & asparagus. It was tasty. Especially if you some of their salsa which is really good. Both of them. They brought it out with my friends’ tacos which they also both enjoyed. 1 had crunchy & 1 had soft.
The aqua Fresca was also very good. We also tried saltenas but we haven’t eaten it yet.

Went here on New Years Eve and the food was delicious. We were a large party and felt at home. The service was stellar, prices were good, food was good and great portions. Definitely recommend and will return. Many Vegetarian options as the beans are vegetarian made without lard. Thank you!

We came in and got the avocado salad, a gaby’s veggie burrito, enchilada & chili relleno, a kid’s quesadilla, and kids chicken strips. Everything was delicious. The chips were extra light crispy and airy which I loved. I also really liked the Bolivian chili salsa.

This place is a 10/10. My experience was great, well worth the price , the portions are big, the wet burrito came with a lot of meat, the avocado salad was bomb, they have Mexican coke, the chips were delicious and so were the salsa and the Bolivian food was amazing it was my first time trying it and it was so delicious and cozy, if i lived in Big bear I would come here often. Very clean, nice Latin music and the staff here is very pleasant. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Gaby’s is a must if you are in Big Bear. Delicious food with generous portions. Experience Bolivia, by going to Gaby’s. The Bolivian carnitas were 11/10, as well as Gaby’s burger (family favorite), and the Enchiladas plate. The Bolivian hot chocolate was fun to try, given it’s made with real whole cacao. Gaby also easily modified the Enchiladas plate to fit our dietary preferences. Gaby is a 11/10 chef and we’re grateful she’s here! She has firmly added so much flavor and depth to the community. We’ll be back to try the Bolivian Selections! ⚖️ ️ ️☕️

I wanted to support Gaby & her daughter’s restaurant. I appreciate their hard work and hospitality after the fact — however, sadly, it was crystal clear that my group was racially profiled upon arrival until I spoke Spanish & tried to course correct their perception of us. We were rushed to order, refused alcohol until I ordered in Spanish, and I had to urge them in Spanish for our group to sit together. I understand they’re protective about their restaurant, but the immediate assumptions made about us were felt by the entire group, and fully tainted our dining experience. They feared we would be rowdy when in reality, we dined very respectfully. Would not recommend if you are a large party of black folks.
