The staff was amazing, very attentive and super helpful as well as giving suggestions on their favorites. Our appetizers were fine, not amazing, but not bad. The main entrees were very good, especially the Pinchos, Pinchos and the desserts were as well, especially the Orange creamsicle cake, to big for one person and I don’t love orange, or cake, but it was very good.

I’ve been to Calypso’s a couple of times while staying at the Caribe Royale, and it’s always such a great experience! The service is friendly and fast, and the atmosphere by the pool makes it the perfect place to relax. The first time, I ordered the chicken quesadillas with french fries, guacamole, and a piña colada. Everything was delicious and super fresh. The second time I had their fish sandwich with chips, guacamole, and of course another piña colada. Both meals were amazing! Whether you’re grabbing lunch by the pool or just looking to unwind with a good drink, Calypso’s is definitely worth a visit.

My fiancé and I visited this restaurant twice, and overall we’ve had mixed experiences.
On both visits, the drinks were the highlight—especially the Long Island. They were delicious, well-made, and really hit the spot. The service has also been consistently wonderful. Both waitresses we had were extremely kind and attentive, which we truly appreciated.
During our first visit, we tried the tacos and the wings. The tacos were okay, and the wings were very delicious. That positive experience is what made us come back again.
On our second visit, we ordered the Pinchos Pinchos and the Cayman bowl. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet our expectations. Both the chicken and the meat were noticeably dry. The vegetables were seasoned fine, but the black beans had way too much cumin, which became overwhelming as we continued eating. When the waitress checked on us, we said everything was okay because we wanted to give the food a fair chance, but the more we ate, the less we enjoyed it.
The restaurant kindly gave us a small discount, which we appreciated, but for the amount we paid, we wouldn’t order those dishes again.
We still love the drinks and the service, but the food on our second visit was disappointing. Still recommend giving this restaurant a try!

We ordered the barbacoa tacos, the Jerk chicken wings, and the red snapper sandwich. My wife loved the tacos and the wings were very tasty. The snapper sandwich was extremely delicious. Our server Sara was very friendly. They charge you a $12.95 service fee on top of the tip you give the waitress. Great atmosphere, right by the pool. A bit too noisy.

Our visit to Calypso Restaurant in Florida was a treat! The standout dish had to be the loaded tater kegs—crispy, cheesy, and packed with flavor. They’re delicious but definitely best for sharing, as they’re quite filling. We also tried the poke bowl, which was fresh, vibrant, and a great balance to the heartier options. Carolina, our waitress, was absolutely lovely, attentive, and made our experience even more enjoyable with her warm and friendly service. Calypso has a welcoming atmosphere, great food, and wonderful staff. Highly recommend stopping by!

I enjoyed the experience in spite of the prices being a bit high for food and drinks that were nothing spectacular. the service was great. The staff was friendly and always helpful and checking if we needed anything! We ordered wings, salmon sandwich, burger ! The drinks variety was limited and cocktails. The design of the place was great! Went back few times for drinks, friendly staff, that this place wealth, otherwise they have to work on their menue which very limited, and maybe a discount to the guests of the hotel better than charging them % 15 service and then paying for tips.

Food and service was impeccable! The chef is so talented and being from New Orleans, we are seriously about out food. The surf and turf trio was the BEST meal we’ve ever had in a restaurant. It’s inside a hotel, but locally owned. You have to savor a meal this good. A wonderful hidden gem that I’m happy we stumbled upon while visiting Orlando. We will definitely be back!

Love this place, Carib Royal has been our staycation for years and we always enjoy the food and drinks here. The service is outstanding, we love Kat, G-Money, Kelly and the crew! We experienced the Stadium Club for the first time, don’t bother. Their quality of service, drinks and food don’t compare. Very disappointing, we’ll stick with Calypso.

This place is very uplifting! The food is delicious and the service is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and respectful. If you think the prices are high, well we’re in a fancy place to begin with. But it’s worth it because you get to eat really good food right next to the swimming pool and you don’t have to go outside and waist time while you and your family are enjoying the time. Sarah, Manuel and Aisha were very awesome. Strongly recommend this place
