Reason for visiting: lunch with my brother
Date/time of visit: Friday, ~12:30 PM
Parking: in the adjacent lot, sharwd with the supermarket and other businesses
Party size: 2
Environment/ambience: busy; restaurant is located inside the supermarket. The restaurant is a bit small; probably about 10 tables. Relatively clean; across from Teresita’s salon (although we saw people eating in the salon and no salon chairs ). Good place to stop by and eat + shopping.
Service: was great; friendly and offered recommendations. They also take credit cards and I think PayPal/Venmo; we paid with credit card + tip in cash
Food: the food was good; I had the Pho Dac Biet + Vietnamese coffee. Both were pretty good; bowl is a good size and the coffee was really good. Banh Beo was good too; one order of Banh Beo comes with 10 small Banh Beo dishes + fish sauce + pork rinds. The fish sauce was lacking flavor but the dishes were still good; also included shrimp and crispy onions on the Banh Beo. For the uninitiated , it’s easier to use the spoon to detach the Banh Beo from the small dish, add the fish sauce, then scoop and eat
Cost: $80, including tip (included Banh Beo to go)
Would I go back (yes/no): 70/30

The correct location is on the right side of the checkout exit of Shunfa Supermarket. It is spacious with nearly 100 seats. The menu is not too extensive. The Hue beef noodle soup has a classic and rich flavor. The service is friendly and there is no need to queue during weekday lunch time.
