Had the burnt ends sandwich a few days ago. Tender, juicy, and delicious. Today, tried the smoked chicken wings with garlic Parmesan. These are probably the best smoked wings and have ever had. Food was brought out quickly and waitstaff was very friendly.

I’ve had the opportunity to eat at Bunkys on several occasions now so I feel like I can give a solid review of the food and service.
Let’s start with the service: you definitely get that small town feel when working with your waiter/waitress! They are friendly but also will joke with you and if something is wrong, are quick to fix the issue. That’s a great trio of characteristics! From the folks who seat you to those you may see who are preparing your food, the Bunkys staff piles on the friendliness. The only negative is that things can move a little slow. But when you’re in there sitting and talking with friends, it rarely feels like much of an inconvenience.
The food: my wife has had the burnt ends several times and loves them. Tender and juicy while not being over sauced. One of the highlighted items is the Smoked Mac and Cheese. Everyone loves the flavor of this dish! I’ve had the wings as well and I would say if you get the wings earlier in the evening, you get them juicier. Later in the night they can come through a little dry, but that’s to be expected if you have a lot of smoke wings sitting for a bit. But the overall flavor is good and they are large wings.
Pizza: you might not think of pizza at a BBQ joint but Bunkys does some fun and delicious toppings that make their pizza very quality. You get the smoked meats and they pile on the toppings so there is not lack of flavor! The only negative I have here is that the crust is just ok. They do have a pizza and salad bar buffet over the weekends, which takes me back to the old pizza hut days! The nestalgia is fun and the buffet is fresh and tasty.
It’s really nice to have a place in Osage City where you feel like you get a good meal every time! I highly recommend 🙂

The food is delicious the brisket is the best in Kansas. They give you good portions easy to share with 2 not super hungry people or will fill a hungry person. Also the cinnamon rolls are great. The baked beans are a great choice too.

Visiting from Texas. The staff was so friendly! Felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The food was delicious. The pizza blew me away. You can find good BBQ but its hard to find good BBQ and good sides. Bunkys has it all. This restaurant is a hit and I definitely want to go back.
