Bearnos is a great spot to relax and enjoy a casual night out. The atmosphere is inviting, and the live music really adds energy to the place; it was definitely one of the highlights of my visit. The food is solid, nothing groundbreaking, but definitely satisfying and pairs well with their drink selection. Speaking of drinks, the beer self-serve dispensers are a cool and unique feature that make grabbing a beer more fun than your usual bar experience.
That said, there was a small hiccup during my visit: a fly was dead in the spout and ended up in my beer. It was a little gross to see it floating around, though I understand that these things can happen behind the bar and it wasn’t a reflection on the staff; but it was still gross to see first hand. Despite that, service was mostly ok.
Overall, Bearnos is a good place to grab a bite, enjoy some drinks, and catch some live music. Just keep an eye on your beer, but don’t let a minor incident overshadow an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Fantastic pizza! Crispy crust, tangy sauce and great cheese. Our server, Julie was attentive, and right there when we needed something, even though it was very busy. Beer wall had a very cool mix of beers and even margaritas!

Probably 4.5 stars. The pizza and cheese sticks here are fantastic. Pizza was loaded with toppings. Restaurant also has a very nice outdoor seating area. Lots of TVs inside to watch games. Looks like it has pay by the ounce beer tap as well.

Bearnos pizza is a family favorite in our home! While taking care of an elderly friend in hospice, she decided she would love a cheese pizza. Our favorite cheese pizza is Bearnos so I ordered her a cheese pizza, she was so excited. Unfortunately, the pizza was an epic fail because it was overcooked. I called, shared the situation with the kindest young lady who answered the phone. She was apologetic And told me she would have a new cheese pizza prepared and hand-deliver it to us. My friend and I were thrilled Even though it was going to be 2 1/2 hours past when the original order was placed. The young lady arrived with a fresh hot pizza that was also overcooked!! I was embarrassed and disappointed to tell my friend who had waited so long for dinner that the pizza she was anticipating, was also extremely overcooked. She was unable to eat either pizza. It was so late in the evening and she needed to eat, she only wanted a piece of toast. Bearnos on Taylorsville Road you disappointed, and let a very special lady down. For years, we’ve ordered from Bearnos on Preston, in Fern Creek, and Bowman Field locations never once had such a negative experience. Attached are photos of the first order and the second order Of plain cheese, pizza. The cheese pizzas from the other locations have delicious white, soft and stringy cheese!! The good news is the next day I ordered her a cheese pizza from Domino’s and it was scrumptious, my sweet friend got her cheese pizza! Epic fail Bearnos on Taylorsville Road!

Nice visit, the pizza was amazing, I really just have two gripes. Between asking for to go boxes and being able to pay and leave, It was a good 30min more before I could get my receipt and leave. The tap system is strange, I wanted to buy a cider, but I was told I could only order some bottles domestics. All other ciders were on the tap wall, and that required a sign-in, a wristband, and they wanted my Driver’s License on file. I’m not giving you all that for a beverage, you just need to know I’m old enough and I pay cash, I’m not scanning my license to a private party business for a beer. That’s a lost sale for me, we ended up just ordering food no drinks. Weird.

Wanted a salad and a beer. Had to hand over my driver’s licenses and credit card and get my own beer. with a bracelet they give you. Then got 2 separate bills. 1 for beer and 1 for salad. Why so invasive and complicated? I am 83 and my wife us 80. Will not be going back again.

Some good pizza! The Mama Bearno’s Special was loaded and filling. Garlic Cheese Stix was a yummy appetizer that i’d get again. Next time I’m gonna give the Bearno’s Meatballs a go and the drink/draft wall!

We had a birthday party here. 10 of us. The staff was wonderfully helpful, cooperative and accommodating. We eat a lot of Bearnos pizza and this pizza was undercooked the dough was very doughy… Our guests enjoyed it just okay…The biggest drawback was the beer wall… it is impossible to keep track of how many ounces you’re really getting served and drinking and paying for… I believe we were considerably overcharged and they don’t bleed the lines so you’re paying for stale beer that either goes into the trough or goes into your glass. I felt sick afterwards and more so this morning. I believe it was the beer, Much of it did taste stale or it had been sitting in the lines. Unless you’re drinking a beer that gets served a lot from those 30 something beers available or you try something different or not as overly popular…. you going to get and pay for stale beer. Nice place, great outdoor area out front, again great staff, undercooked pizza, overall nice experience.
