Incredibly rude staff only place I’ve ever been that said you can’t have your dog on the patio in the mountains. Of Colorado staff was completely rude. Unbelievable would highly not recommend this place to anyone. Also called their two other locations and they accept dogs on the patio so just the Avon one is the one that is poorly managed. Picture is the vail site thank you for being dog friendly unlike the guy store in Avon

I visited Pazzo’s in February right after I tore my ACL. I wasn’t able to join my friends skiing so I thought some pizza would cheer me up but I was far from wrong. My partner and I decided on Pazzo’s from many options because it looked like the best option. I’ve worked in the food industry and work in customer service. I’ve also gotten my food safety certification three times. I watched the man making our pizza scratch his arm hair and beard then toss pizza dough (he was not wearing gloves). Then I watched him handle cash and cards, pour beer then scratch his arms some more and then toss more dough. I was disgusted and irritated because not only was I watching this happen but our server was dry and neglecting us. The restaurant wasn’t busy so I had no idea why we weren’t getting attention. I could only finish one slice of pizza knowing how the food was handled and as soon as we asked for the check our server had no problem giving us attention. I do NOT recommend this place to eat while you’re in the Avon area.

I recently visited Pazzo’s Pizzeria and had an overall pleasant experience. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating and gladly added extra mushrooms to my pizza order. However, I did encounter a bit of an awkward moment when the owner, Mark, remarked that it was “stupid” to add extra mushrooms. He said it loud enough from behind the counter that I could hear it. Despite this, I appreciated the quality of the food and the overall service from our waiter. On a lighter note, I even did a little “return to sender” spell to send those words back to Mark, as words hold power. Additionally, I found that dining at the location in Vail is much more inviting and enjoyable compared to the one in Avon, Colorado. Overall, I will not visit this location again. I feel bad for the employees that Mark micro manages as he was hovering over their every move. Sending hugs to all of them because if he’ll speak negative about food orders, I can only imagine what he says about his own staff.

We had the small supreme pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The only reason I can’t give the food five stars is that the crust was pretty soggy. It didn’t negatively impact the flavor at all, but it made the slices hard to pick up and just a tad less pleasant to eat.
For those who want something other than pizza, there’s a nice selection of pastas and other things. I’d happily go back.

Stone oven cooked they way I was taught. Great crust! Some bubbles but not all. Sat oven side at the bar and watched this guy cook everything to perfection….pizzas, calzones, extra deep dish never burnt but always nice and crispy. Busy place but we got our order in quickly and food came out fast. I can’t remember the name but the pizza with the broccoli but it was fantastic.

This is an absolute go to place when you are in the town. I haven’t really tasted such amazing pizza.. The service was super quick and the feel and ambience was also very casual and nice..
The restaurant altogether is spacious. We ordered the house special pizza de rano with some variations but everything in that pizza was so good and well cooked that we finished everything within a few seconds..
You should also try the local beer that’s on the menu..it’s names hot mess …

We had an excellent experience here. They have several beer on tap. We ordered the Figioli pizza and loved it. A white sauce with veggies and ricotta. The crust was great too. So delicious. Our waiter was also awesome, very kind and attentive. Laid back, local atmosphere. We would highly recommend this place!
