Unfortunately this place has declined significantly I have been eating from here since 2014. Sometimes 3x a week I had a spa in the building. But this would unfortunately be the last time I come eat here. I got overcharged.no receipt. No change. Waited 30 min… for 3 tacos and I was charged $20 for this. I will be posting the photo. No chips no salsa like before and I got overcharged because I was paying Cash I’m sorry but this was a horrible experience

I went after a day spending it at the beach. I was starving. The food was okay. I had tacos (steak and chicken) and both were missing flavor. Their piña colada was a bit too sweet but overall okay. The restaurant was a bit empty and they took a while to serve us and provide us food.

Downtown Hollywood is becoming an upscale place Takitos is getting cheap with high prices. Bring your own napkins. Taco bell has better ones. Your check still will be more than $120 for 2 people. Rest of restaurants in the area are doing everything possible to up their game. Very sad to see a restaurant don’t care about quality. Look at how much I pay twice a week…do I deserve toilet paper. This is my favorite place because of the location. The staff is friendly of the food is very good however you can tell that the owner just wants to make money. Doesn’t care about anything else. Cheap napkins for an expensive restaurants. They have music by the speakers are so terrible that it hurts. COME ON YOU ARE IN AN UPSCALE PLACE NOW. THIS IS THE NEW HOLLYWOOD. DONT BE CHEAP!!

Such awful food.
Everything was obviously from a bag, no flavor and the prices didn’t add up. The server tonight didn’t remove anything from the bill even after seeing that we didn’t eat much at all and the drinks were simply syrup . On top of that her attitude was was sharp. We were obviously treated differently from the latinas next door, she spoke to them with a smile and all, meanwhile we were given attitude and straight face. It was a awful experience not worth going to , unfortunately I was hungry and chose this establishment. Plus there was extra money added to my bill because 3 things on that menu + a coke should not have added up to $70 . The worst part is we went to another spot after and heard that Takitos is notoriously terrible and over priced.i haute writing reviews especially when it affects businesses, but this had to be said as a warning . This is coming from a chef-I will not return and not a recommendation in my book. Plus a server was eating and walking around . This can’t be a real place.

The waitress, Karen at Takitos Restaurant was outstanding. She was attentive, friendly, and efficient throughout our dining experience. Her warm smile and prompt service made our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We ordered a drink and food, but chose to sit on the outer sidewalk tables. Are they connected to the restaurant next-door? It’s not clear, but they still served us and didn’t give us a hard time about it, so I thank them for that. The nachos don’t even require any additional protein. Without chicken or steak or anything, it was divine and just enough for two people to munch on and get full if they want something in their stomach. Drinks were amazing too.
