Warning!! Check your bill carefully, don’t get ripped off.
We had a great time, the tarte tatin was excellent and the service was top-notch. Unfortunately, when it came time to pay, we were charged for two extra beers. Once we left the restaurant, we realized there was probably a problem with the bill, and as soon as we got back inside, the waiter immediately understood that we were there to ask about the €20 difference. A bit strange, isn’t it?
We were reimbursed, and apparently, it was for two beers from another table…
I think this is the type of movement that some restaurants do to take advantage of tourists. Really disappointed.

First time visiting Paris and first dinner in Paris! My husband’s friend found this place on open table and it turned out great! I didn’t know what to expect from the place but the foods were delicious! Service staff were friendly! But the place is was so small and the table were so close to each other and I think that was very common in Paris! Overall I enjoyed my first night in Paris!

Nice atmosphere and tasteful decoration. Even the lavatories are clean and kinda cool.
Appropriate for a romantic outing or small intimate gatherings without loud music.

La carte is a on the pricey side though, so pass if you’re on a budget.

Very nice food. The Endive Salad is a must, SO GOOD. The Gnocchi was a bit flat to my taste. Great service, great cocktails. Very beautifully designed.

Our friends recommended us this place. This place is run and owned by women. So we were willing to support and try.

The food was average at best. Ordered a few items the stand outs were truffle gouda and the dessert pavlova.
The scallop main was meh. The foie gras was decent but not outstanding. The chicken supreme with satay was good.

We also ordered glasses of wine to go with our meals.

The atmosphere was good and the service was excellent.

I had such an amazing experience at Pamela Popo in Paris. The food was incredible — every dish was full of flavor and beautifully done. The space felt cozy and intimate with perfect lighting, a relaxed but sexy vibe, and a team of staff who were friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

As a Peruvian–New Yorker, I know good food and I’m not easily impressed, but this place had everything you look for when meeting friends: great dishes, great ambiance, and a great overall energy. I can’t wait to come back. Don’t overthink it. Just go…V

A hidden gem! This place is not cheap but if you want to have a fun and great evening Pamela Popo is the spot. I took my family of 4 ( with grown teens) and had an amazing meal. The staff was attentive and assisted with recommendations. Great food and great drinks. The steak for 2 can serve 3-4 if you’re dinning lite.

I’ve been coming to Pamela Popo for 8 years. It’s my favourite restaurant in Paris: consistently changing the menu enough to keep it exciting and fresh but not so much that it veers away from good, well executed, superb French cuisine that Paris is known for. I am back again in the May of 2023 where the mushroom ravioli has the perfect blend of depth and citrus finish, the steak cooked to perfection with creamy mash potatoes. For dessert which my guest maintains is the strongest course: the French toast is to die for, beautifully present, eggy, melt in your mouth goodness and the dark chocolate tart is perfection! The staff are so lovely and charming. The wine is solid. The music is ok point. Strong recommend.

Pamela Popo, located in the vibrant Marais neighborhood of Paris, is a restaurant that left a lasting impression on me.

Let’s start with the food. The menu at Pamela Popo offers a tantalizing array of dishes that are so good. Truffle dishes actually tasted like truffle! Every bite was a burst of flavors, and I found myself savoring each dish with pure delight. The attention to detail and the use of fresh ingredients were evident in every plate, making the food not only delicious but also visually appealing.

The service at Pamela Popo was nothing short of exceptional. The staff was not only attentive and efficient but also personable and fun. They went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and taken care of. Their knowledge of the menu and their recommendations added an extra layer of enjoyment to the overall experience.

The atmosphere at Pamela Popo is another highlight. The restaurant effortlessly combines a chic and contemporary design with a cozy and intimate feel. The dim lighting and the stylish decor create a relaxed and sophisticated ambiance that is perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends.

In conclusion, Pamela Popo is a gem in the Marais. Whether you’re a local or a visitor, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.
