This is exactly what you should expect if you are walking into a shop called Nicky’s Gryos. They have plenty of sand which options. The fry portion, of course, is more than generous. It was a bit too warm inside the day I stopped, but still worth the stop if you are into tasty made to order sandwiches.

I know i’m always getting a good gyro plate there, beef sandwiches are good hot dogs. Chicago dog? We’re always good, always quick service. I can’t say much about the atmosphere because there really doesn’t seem to be an atmosphere inside the restaurant itself

I’ve been coming to this Nicky’s for a long time. We put up with the way the place looks (very outdated) and actually sit inside because, well, it’s always empty and you don’t have to bother with crowds, and the food is decent (not great, but decent). Well today is the last time we’ll come here, because while we were trying to have lunch together and forget about the horrors of the world for a little bit, we were forced to hear ultra-right-wing propaganda blaring on Nicky’s TV. Why on earth would a business have devisive “news” going – do they think we all feel the same way? Heck – when someone walks in, just quickly turn the channel to sports or a kids show or even an infomercial; anything would’ve been better. But now I know not to bother with this place. We were in a good mood going in; but left feeling disgusted and disappointed.

There was no manager on site, four workers in the front standing in front of where the food is served eating sandwiches, and french fries and playing poker for money on the very table that the food is served on to be handed to the customer. I asked for the manager and then I was told there was no managers there so they sent one of the cooks out front and I asked him was he safe food certified and he said yes at that point I asked him what part of this is actually legal? This was the most disgusting restaurant I’ve ever been in as far as safe food handling is concerned they will never see my face in there again, and they did get a piece of my mind At that time they know exactly how I feel! Look at the photos below and zoom in and you can see what I’m talking about. I hope the health department gets involved in this and puts a stop to it. It should be shut down

I studied in Greece and have been missing the food. This REALLY hit the spot! Excellent food and service! I ordered delivery and they were super fast and kind. You get a large amount of food for the price. I ordered the chicken gyro combo and it was delicious! Comes with lamb, a whole chicken breast, 2 warm soft pita breads, onions, tomatoes, feta, fries, ketchup and 2 tzatziki sauce. Authentic too! Will definitely order from here again.

1st time visitor – In town for business, staying at the adjacent Hampton Inn, and needed a quick bite to eat. Easy walking distance from the hitel.
Asked the counter ladies for their suggestions to eat and they both said “Try the gyros!”
Got the gyro plate and I must say I was not disappointed. Tasty, shaved meat. Fresh tomato and onion and a good serving of gyro sauce. Loads of fries though I think I must have gotten the bottom of the box – there wasn’t a single fry longer than an inch or so – sort of like fry nubs! But they were good and I had no trouble eating them.
Clean tables and dining area.
Next time I’m in town I’ll try it again.

Good hotdogs, and gyros, everything is cooked after you order. Reasonably priced. Large dining room. They have a large menu. Staff was very friendly. They deliver also
