Ordered a Miss sumter sushi roll and was under the impression it was only $10.95 as that is what it says online…. Got my card back and they charged me $15 for one sushi roll! I asked why it was different from what online says and all she told me was the prices increaced. I understand prices going up but a whole $5 and then you dont let people know until after they pay!? It was good but not worth $15 save yourself the money and frustration.

The main dish was good.
Rolls are great.
Service was very nice and polite and I could understand them well.
The only problem was my wife and I both ordered steak and shrimp with zucchini as a side. We both received steak and chicken with carrots as a side. The waitress brought us each a side plate of shrimp. In a way we ended up with steak & chicken & shrimp so we actually came out to the good and the waitress was very polite about it and handled it well. So it’s more of stating an easily corrected mistake than making a complaint.
Oh well maybe a slight complaint, when I mentioned we had instead of zucchini she pointed out the 3-5 strips of zucchini cooked in with the & .

Unfortunately very small portions for the price you pay. We left hungry. The sushi is good, but the hibachi and rice is not worth the price.

Traveling through Sumpter over Easter weekend and this was practically the only place open on Sunday — and was delicious! I have celiac, so I needed #glutenfree options. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the Asahi roll. Both were great — but they did not have GF soy sauce.

This family owned restaurant has very good food. The staff is very pleasant, friendly and they really make you feel welcome. Quite frankly, I did not expect to find such good tasting sushi here. From the outside it may not look all that amazing but you can get a very delicious meal for your money here. Very pleased with my experience.

Excellent as usual. Sushi and teriyaki chicken with extra veggies. Tasty sweet tea. Staff is great. They put a candle in the middle of the sushi and sang happy birthday to me!

The sushi was pretty good but the hibachi was burnt. Clearly just coated in soy sauce and thrown in a scalding hot pan. The soup was bland and only tasted like black pepper. The bathroom door was filthy. I was really hoping to enjoy this place. The servers were very nice. If you are just planning on getting the sushi then go for it. But otherwise I would stay away.
