We went here for our second time and the food was just as good. The shrimp tacos are really good. I’m not sure what is in the orange sauce but it really goes great with the shrimp. The quesabirria tacos are great. All the tacos were delicious. My only complaint is that they are expensive. But most food is now. They are a little slower due to only one person being back in the kitchen. The restaurant is clean and they have a nice little salsa bar with some spicy salsas. I’m sure we will be back for more tacos.

Wanted a burrito and didn’t want to drive across town for one. I remember always enjoying burritos from here and I was excited. What I got was far from what I remembered.
The burrito was cold. The meat was over cooked and almost crunchy….sorta like I was eating very old Skittles. The fries were old and didn’t help the taste.
The hot sauces were pretty good though. They helped to make it tolerable. So, 5 star there.
Paid $15 for something worth 6.
Their plates I’m sure are much better. But skip the burritos and go to Reynel2 Mexican restaurant on Northgate mile. Far superior burritos for cheaper.

Placed a Togo order a few weeks ago. Burrito was amazing decided to order a 10 taco plate today. Delicious! The red and green sauce is great. Found my green favorite Mexican restaurant.
I have been in there twice. I assume the person’s working are the owners. They are so nice. 110% accommodating. The self serve bar was out of limbs, I was give 2 full lokes to take home w my taco plate.
Hidden gem! Great food.

Definitely our new favorite place in town for a quick meal. Very friendly staff, very fast service, well seasoned food, good portion sizes and good prices. The salsa bar is well stocked and nicely labeled. Family friendly with a great kids menu

I may have ordered the wrong thing here, but I didn’t really care for this place. I got a sonorense lingua burrito, but really it was a frijole burrito with some lingua. There wasn’t much meat and mainly soupy refried beans. Also, I checked their menu it was suppose to be toasted with cheese and there was no cheese at all. Just a normal bean burrito but for $12+. Thats unacceptable. My buddy got the super burrito, but didn’t get the lettuce or tomatoes. We didn’t realize these things until halfway through our burritos when we noticed they were just full of beans and hardly any meat. The salsas are really good here, especially the salsa quemada. Overall, the food is pretty expensive for just being beans, no meat, and they don’t make the food according to the menu. I don’t like to rate restaurants low, but I can’t recommend this place.

So my husband and I love trying new places to eat. We have lived in this area for 3 years and passed this place almost every day. Well, we finally stopped by. I’m telling you!! Oh man I was shocked at how good this food is! The salsa bar has fresh limes, and I mean fresh! Great flavors! I can make some mean Hispanic food, and this place is my go to when I don’t want to cook. Just fantastic I tell you!! Tables are clean, and the ambiance is welcoming! Give it a try when you’re out and about. Parking is a bit tough, but we’ll worth it. Has a great ramp for the handicapped and plenty of room for wheelchairs!!

Way over priced** Beyond disappointing, especially for almost 3 dollars a taco. Meat was very bland and there was barely any onion and cilantro (carnitas had zero flavor or texture, should be slightly crispy). The breakfast burrito was $10 and had no cheese or any sort of flavor outside of the sausage in it. The hot sauce was definitely the worst in town.. this places rating is reflective of the side of town they are located, not the actual quality of the food. I’ve honestly never eaten Mexican food so disappointing outside of the union market on 1st street. Places to try: Garcias Meat Market, Tacos las Penitas, Tacos mi Pueblo, and Morenitas.

Hands-down best tacos I’ve found in the Idaho Falls/Ammon area.
The birria tacos at Taqueria El Rodeo are by far the best birria tacos I’ve had since moving here. The consome has a great flavor as well. You definitely won’t be disappointed. The asada and lengua tacos are good too! Nothing is lacking in flavor, that’s for sure. Prices are slightly higher than others I’ve had (appx $2.40 per taco) but worth it in my opinion.
I’ve also had the verde enchiladas. The enchilada sauce had a slight vinegar taste to it so these weren’t my favorite.
The salsa bar is fantastic. There are 6 different salsa options, all ranging in spice levels. You can also find limes and radishes.
The biggest downside? Taqueria El Rodeo closes at 8pm on weekdays. I have to cut it pretty close if trying to stop in on my way home after work – but it’s worth it, in my opinion. The interior is kept clean and the food is served up quickly. Each time I’ve been here, I waited less than 15 minutes.
In full honesty, I’ve been here more often in the last two weeks than I’d like to admit. But I can’t help it…
