I love their sandwiches, fried rices, and laksa! I always get the pork belly sandwich or the chicken thigh sandwich with a fried rice. The bread is fresh and crispy on the outside. The seasoning is always spot on! Everything is so tasty here. Too bad the dine in option is still not available.

Edit 1: I haven’t been back for almost a year. I got the pork belly sandwich (ban mi), and it was still very delicious.

Went back yesterday they moved the location to the next door, and now it’s on E89th street. The person at the desk was rude. The portion of the sandwich was clearly smaller than before. The proteins used to be bigger and thicker, and now it was mostly carrots. I’ll keep grading it down if there is no visible improvements.

Went back again on 01/30/2026, and the sandwich was much better this time. The portion was good. I wish they will keep their quality more stable like this.

Fish banh mi is the best fish sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. The fish is SUPER fresh and tender/flakey, the fish fillet breading is not too thick, the fresh made house baguette is soft (not stale at all), the pickled carrots also tasted fresh and not like they’ve been sitting around like other banh mi spots. Love they have a wide delivery radius and go downtown. The fried chicken banh mi is flavorful too but spicy.

In my opinion, this place has one of the most flavorful pho broths in the area. The soup base is rich, fragrant, and well-balanced just that comforting depth you look for in pho. I find myself ordering from here often, especially since it’s close to my workplace, and it has become a reliable go to whenever I’m craving pho. The beef is consistently tender, juicy. The noodles always arrive with the right texture.

If you’re looking for a satisfying, feel-good bowl of pho in the neighborhood, this spot is definitely worth trying.

I’ve always past Vietnaam Restaurant, but never took a chance to try the food. I finally decided to grab dinner from here a few days ago. Although, most of the restaurant is going through renovations. Customers can still grab takeout.

Upon ordering, the food was prepared quickly. I had the Lemon Grass Pork Chop and Grilled Flank Steak. Both dishes tasted great. So, if you haven’t tried Vietnamese Food, I would recommend that you try the dishes from Vietnaam.

They’re still take out only, but the take out is so good….

They give discounts for takeout (so all the time), and an additional discount for lunch time. Prices look a bit high on their website, but with a 10% + 15% discount during lunch times, it can be very reasonable.

I would definitely recommend any of their banh mi’s, especially the lemongrass pork. The buns are nice and fluffy, they are very generous with the protein, and the pickled veggies are amazing as well.

If you want an amazing starter, the beef satay is both delicious, and basically a meal on its own.

They also clearly label gluten free, which is a huge plus for celiacs.

The entire experience felt worth repeating soon. Worker attention was truly impressive! The food satisfies your taste and your hunger. The dishes please, the prices don’t shock and the staff actually helps. All aspects maintained high standards.

Just a take out spot but this sandwich was delicious. Chicken was tender, vegetables were fresh and crunchy. The sauce was amazing.

Long time customer since they were Saigon Grill. Food is consistent and delicious with a bonus for pick up orders which is a nice touch. Best Vietnamese food in the area. Highly recommend their crispy spring rolls (Nem) and Laksa soup.

Food was pretty good! Ordered takeout of their pho and I really enjoyed their soup base more. The spring rolls wasn’t too bad but it was a big portion size! There is no inside seating, ONLY takeout option. I would come back next time

Best Banh Mi in town.

The Pho is also incredible!

I’ve had almost every banh mi/ pho here in NYC and nothing comes close to this.
