Fantastic sports bar run by Dave who is a great host.
All sports shown live. Decent drink prices and lovely staff.
The food is the stand out feature of this place, delicious Thai and western food served with very generous portions. The fried chicken is great and the English breakfast is the best that I have tried in Thailand. The sausages and bacon are awesome. Do yourself a favour and get a Panang or Massaman curry with a serve of hot chips instead of rice. Dipping delights, with the chips in the curry sauce!
Spotless toilets and decent pool tables also. Definitely worth a visit or 5. Free dinner snacks on Tuesday nights, awesome.

Great spot. Dave the owner is great, staff is fun. They are working on being open for USA sports on tv, which means they need to have someone to open at 0600. If you ask them, they might accommodate, just ask. Also, the menu is customizable, so feel free to ask for a little customization to your meal.

Best sports bar for any event. They open at 7:30 and 8:00 depending on the games in America and Canada. They’re very active on their Facebook keeping everyone up to date on events.

Amazing food and drinks. Friendly staff.

I enjoy the people and the vibe is positive and kind. Nothing better than enjoying a few beers and great food with better people. Nan and Dave just do a great job treating customers like family.

A fantastic bar run by Dave and Nan! Nan is an amazing cook and all the food that I have had at the Halfway Inn has been 5* with fair prices. The service is quick by very kind and friendly staff who will do anything for you. They have lots of live sports on the multiple TVs (with different sports on each screen), including the English Premier League! There are 2 well maintained pool tables (as they have pool teams in the Hua Hin Pool League) and even some Cornhole Boards and competitions.

One highlight was Nan cooking her English Full Roast on a WEDNESDAY (everyone else only cooks them on Sundays and who doesn’t want a roast dinner midweek/). Probably the best English Full Roast in Thailand! 5*

I can’t rate this place highly enough and most definitely will be going back to the Halfway Inn!

Had a full breakfast, it was very good, and very good value. I was particularly impressed with the sausages, probably best sausages I’ve tasted in Thailand. Service good and efficient.

Very friendly vibe, AFL, NRL game are available. Beer is cheap at Happy hour 3pm – 7pm. There are 2 big pool tables, and many more we have to come back.

Was ok, choices for breakfast were small so I had the English breakfast not a fan of that. But I thought the portion size was appropriate and the food quality was good. The staff was attentive and were pretty much on point. I would tell people to give it a try.

During our first visit to Hua Hin my wife and I visited the ‘Halfway Inn’ a bar/restaurant situated on Soi 94, a popular area of the town with its many bars and restaurants.
We were greeted by Dave the owner, who made us feel very welcome and spent some time with us talking about the area and local attractions.
We arrived on a Wednesday and this was ‘Wednesday Woast’ night, as the name suggests it’s a Sunday roast on Wed. The food was superb a choice of 2 meats (lamb, chicken, beef and Pork) and as much veg as you can eat, and Yorkshire pudding of course.
Dave and his wife Nan are a formidable team, Dave runs the ‘front of house’ and the kitchen is Nan’s domain. Dave and Nan have a great supporting team who are very hardworking, polite and courteous. The menu has both Thai and Western dishes all cooked to a high standard. With very reasonable prices.
The restaurant is very popular with the local expat community who made us feel very welcome, when we left, we felt like regulars. The ambiance is very pleasant and relaxing, no loud music, you can actually have a conversation. For those who are sports fans, Dave provides a very comprehensive ‘sports’ service on the large TV screens. As well as the normal UK/US sports scene, if you have any particular request Dave will do his best to provide it. He does extensive research and regularly updates his events list.
I must make a special mention regarding the breakfast. We had the full English for the three days we were there and I cannot remember ever having a better breakfast, ever. I can’t think it could be improved upon. The ingredients are all well sourced and as close to the UK as is possible in Thailand, real ‘English’ baked beans and real pork sausages. If you don’t like the Halfway Inn breakfast, you have a problem.
In summary the Halfway Inn is an excellent choice to dine and have a beer or two. Dave and his team are brilliant and I couldn’t rate Dave’s bar high enough.
