Oh boy they deserve this five star rating for sure! The marinated carne asada is amazing, I’ve tried many places and this has got to be the best so far. There salsa is very good too. The butcher behind the counter was very nice as well. Can’t wait to try more.

If you’re looking for a tasty alternative to Rotisserie chicken from typical grocery stores like Costco, Fry’s and Sprouts, I recommend trying Herradero’s BBQ chicken package. It’s more pricey but they give you a whole chicken, tortillas, rice and salsa. Very tasty chicken … full of flavor… and fills you up.

Get 3 lbs of Ranchera meat for the best home made street tacos in Phoenix (because you will have made them). They have it all, tortillas, limes, cilantro, marinade, guacamole, salsa. The staff are all very friendly. The marinade is perfect. The meat cuts are perfect. If you are planning to entertain with a backyard party and want to make tacos, this is the best place to go. You may be intimidated by all the signs in Spanish, but that just shows how authentic the ingredients are that they offer. If you go on the weekend, you can even get some of their chicken cooked on the grill right outside for lunch!!

Their meat is good. They will marinade it (for free) the same as most carnicerias. The big difference with this place is the quality of the meat is far superior. It is so tender it often falls apart on the grill.

Their Carne Asada marinade is the absolute best around. Catch them at lunch time for some whole chicken right off the rotisserie. I’ve got half a dozen carnicerias in between me and this one from San Tan Valley but they just can’t compare. Only place I’ll go anymore.
