This Panera Bread location is exceptional! The restaurant is incredibly clean, with the staff and management always maintaining a spotless environment. The sandwiches are fresh, hot, and more satisfying compared to other locations. Their baked goods are always well-stocked and beautifully presented, with a variety of delicious pastries to choose from. The staff are friendly and attentive, especially Crystella, who works during the day and makes the best sandwiches! Dolores, and Angela who are always kind and friendly every morning, brings a warm and cheerful start to your day! what a great way to kick things off with such positive energy! Management is often seen in the lobby, ensuring everything is perfect. If something’s not right, they’re happy to fix it. Highly recommend this location for its top-notch service, exceptional quality, and wonderful staff!

When I went to the Panera Bread on North Avenue in Elmwood Park , I was greeted by the server who was somewhat subdued in her speech and mannerism. My order took about 15 minutes because the server at the pickup counter, did not recognize the fact that there was a first and last name, and my name was not called out correctly! I had to go to the counter twice asking about my order, and she said ” no it was not ready! ” When finally I went back up to the counter, she said oh I called the wrong name!!!
When I received my order and proceeded to go home to enjoy it, I was very disturbed, as the vegetables were a bit wilted and the strawberries that were in my dish were very, very ripe, in fact , overly so! In the future I will not be going to this Panera Bread, I will go to the one on Lake Street in Oak Park, which is where I generally go…. This locatiin , need to be aware that their service, pales in comparison to the Panera Bread on Lake Street in Oak Park!!!

We had the worst experience at this location. We ordered our two bagels “double toasted”, repeated double toasted/dark at least 3 times before we paid. Low and behold the bagels looked like they weren’t toasted at all. The cashier kept throwing them to the back of the toaster without giving them a chance to toast at all. Yes, you read that right the cashier handles the money and the food. The sesame seeds on my bagel still looked white. (Attaching photo for reference). We asked for the bagels to be put through the toaster again. She told us that she couldn’t do that once the ordered crossed the pickup counter, granted the bagels were put inside bags, even though we ordered dine-in. We asked for the manager believe her name was Jamica, who already knew the situation. She came over with a real bad attitude and reiterated that she couldn’t rerun the bagels because we already had the order in our hands. We told her that that our original request was never granted but she didn’t care. She refused to make the bagels right. She was beyond rude and refunded a $23 order instead of making the order correct. This company rather lose a sale and a customer before granting a customer’s request when the order was placed, not after. We took our refund and went to the American Bagel Company a block away where our bagels were done correctly the first time, no cross contamination and they just gained a new customer. They won’t get another penny from me.

I had a great experience at Panera Bread thanks to Dolores! She was incredibly helpful and friendly, and her positive attitude made my visit even better. She even gave me free drinks, which was such a kind surprise. The service, food, and warm smiles will definitely bring me back!

Panera bread is the stop for a good bite, sweet or sour this is the place. Coffee to wake up or a good sandwich to fill you up, bagels or cookies, they have it all, something I recommend is the cranberry-orange poundcake, super delicious

i hate to leave a bad review but i was just a panera and ordered a hot chocolate with my food. i grab the cup and it feels light but im like ok whatever. i sit down and try to take a sip and all i get is whip cream. so i open it and take all the whip cream out and i see that’s it’s not even filled up all the way. I go up and show the working manager that my cup isn’t filled up all the way. i was told to hold on so i’m waiting because she is texting another manager and she proceeded to tell me “ yeah no we’re not making you a new one” with an attitude. i said i didn’t drink any of it i had to look and see if there was any hot coco late in there. she still said no and handed me my cup and walked away. So be careful with your drink orders cause they won’t give a full cup. Usually this location is really good and my favorite panera, but today was just awful.

Food wise it’s ok. The Asian lady who was working in the order pick up area was extremely rude. Lack of service. Handed my food in a very rude way. This location always seems angry and upset when orders are placed in a different name. Horrible service

This location is right on North avenue and is sorely needing a bigger parking lot.
We come here for the sweets and they do not disappoint. You can always choose from an assortment of Bagels, Croissants, Cookies, Rolls and Scones. They are freshly baked throughout the day and there is always a nice selection to choose from.
This location is usually very crowded, but they do seem to take care of customers in a timely fashion. There are self serve kiosks on the left side, but, I would not recommend using them unless there is a very long line. I saw people attempting to use them and it took them a longer time to use them than having a real person assist you. Besides, this is only a way to cut back on employees, which I am not in favor of supporting.
They do offer soup and sandwiches here also, but, have never ordered any of them.
