One of the best choices of places to share a meal with friends in the historic core of Hudson. Varied menu of starters/small plates, salads, soups, and main courses; beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails. Our small group decided to order several small plates with drinks — very tasty and generous portions. Outdoor covered seating as well as indoor. Servers are friendly/polite; wait time for the food is acceptable, even with the place pretty full.

Went here after a party and it was SO good! I got the Gaucho steak tip sandwich, fearing it would be much too chewy for a sandwich by one of the waiters assured me it was fantastic and it was everything I ever wanted. Paired with a delicious seasonal autumn themed sangria, I could have been happier! I will be back!

Had a great experience as a party of five on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. We all enjoyed our food and I really appreciated Manuela’s attention to my food allergies. The restaurant is larger than it seems from the outside with a nice atmosphere. Lots of great menu options for different food preferences (vegetarian for example), and very friendly staff. We live about 40 minutes away but it was a good halfway meeting point for our whole party, and we’ll definitely go there the next time we’re in Hudson!

First time at Welly’s. I loved the atmosphere and looking out over the main street. We had a reservation for 4, but our party doubled, and they were very accommodating
The food was delicious. All that order had great reviews for each dish they had. The verity of dishes was awesome and hard to decide on one thing
I live that they had more than 3 selections for Gkuten Free for my sister.
I also have to say their pistachio martini was to die for. It’s the only place that uses Fabrizio pistachio cream liquor

Food was ok. Nice menu but everything we tried was good, but not great. Onion soup very salty, Chicken Parm sandwich just didn’t taste good and we left half of it and pizzas were probably the highlight. Service was very good and routinely checked on us! Very busy Wednesday night, but we were treated very well.

Dined here a few times. Atmosphere is the best part. Food is average & prices are reasonable. Service was friendly but extremely slow. 15min before they came to our table/took a drink order, and 30+min to order food, and I had to flag the waiter requesting to place our orders. Service is uncoordinated, and ZERO sense of urgency. Calamari was the best dish we had, steak tips were cooked great but under seasoned. I got surf & turf – menu said it came with baked stuffed shrimp, I got shrimp covered in bread crumbs. That’s NOT stuffed shrimp lol. The menu should be updated accordingly. Food needed salt/pepper (which was not on the table) but by the time our server checked how our food was, we were finishing our meal. It took 1 hour 30min for my wife and I to have dinner, yikes. They had ample servers, so it didn’t make much sense. They have a large menu, but my advice is to focus on quality over quantity. Seems like a great place to grab a drink and watch a game as you’ll be there a while if dining in.

Everything was great! Especially those homemade onion rings It’s hard to find places that don’t use frozen onion rings. Props for doing everything right in the food department. Fish and draft beer were great too! Service and atmosphere A+. Recommend to all and looking forward to my next visit to Hudson
