Social Profile:

Widely known for specialty pizzas served from the 1985 International Fire Engine that was stationed on Fairfield Avenue, Fire Engine Pizza Co. was reinvented to bring together classic combinations with a modern twist. The menu offers gluten free options, a homemade mozzarella wedge that’s unlike any others around – oozing with fresh mozzarella cheese, roasted red peppers, basil, garlic, and spinach as well as entrees that have quickly become the talk of the town including Carmine’s Eggplant, Rigatoni Tuscana, and Sunday at Carmela’s just to name a few.

Brick-oven pizza & draft beer served in chill, fire house-themed digs with a long bar & patio.

Anazing pizza!! We got a large with half cheese, half pepperoni and pineapple. One large was more than enough for two people. Our waitress was very nice, and the food came out quickly. Plenty of seating around lunch time. Highly recommend!

The food was decent.

From the reviews, I expected it to be excellent.

The fries seemed like they were refried.

The chicken Parmesan sandwich was quite delicious. Everything else was merely satisfactory.

I hate to leave a negative review but the food from here was unfortunately super disappointing. I got the Black Rock Cobb salad and asked for no egg which was correct when I got my order but they forgot the bacon. And I knew the salad was going to be mediocre the second I opened the container. There were huge slices of tomato like what you’d put on a sandwich…chopping them up smaller for a salad would make sense & wouldn’t be that much extra effort. The chicken looked bland & unseasoned and it was. It was also very dry. The dressing was the only good part of the salad, otherwise it was terrible. And to charge $20 for that salad is wild. My boyfriend got the Sunday at Carmela’s entree & he thought it was okay but there was nothing special about it. The sauce wasn’t flavorful at all. And we had fries which were the best part of the meal but still just kinda mid.

I know it’s a pizza restaurant & we didn’t have the pizza, so hopefully the pizza is better.

We loved Fire Engine Pizza. Super friendly staff. Cozy, clean restaurant. Very festove decorations for the Holidays. Salad was FANTASTIC. Their house dressing was SO tasty. Pizza is soooooo good. I had the salmon with veggies. So so yummy. Our server Diana was so wonderful. She had great energy, very attentive and took great care of us. We will definitely be back!❤️

Side bar…Great parking structure in the back as well

Great stop with the family coming home from vacation and just needed a quick bite. The Fire House fries are killer. The Mozzarella sticks aren’t sticks. Probably the only complaint is that you get 4 for $12.00 and they are a circle.
Best BBQ Chicken Pizza we’ve ever had. The waitress was nice, but answered with a quick Yep everytime which made it seem like she was irritated to wait on us.
A chocolate milk, 2 sprites, 1 water, and a Cranberry juice isn’t too much to ask for. She was nice though soaybe that’s just how she is. The food is phenomenal and the man that owns it is a local. One thing my wife and I always try to do is support your local small business.

Disappointing experience on a Friday night. I don’t like to disparage a small business, however, the food was unacceptable. The pizza was so flimsy that it could not be picked up to eat. The cheese was very chewy. We watched the couple next to us have the same issue-picked up their pizza and all of toppings slid off. I am unsure if it was the dough, the cheese or if it was not cooked long enough but it was terrible. The fries were bland, not cooked enough and had no taste. We opted to get one of the drink specials but the bar did not have the ingredients to make it. The service was great and the ambiance is nice but we won’t be returning.

I tried this place off Uber eats last night and wasn’t expecting anything crazy for a takeout meal, but the linguine was incredible. So simple but their red sauce is so flavorful. Looking forward to having it again in the future.

We ordered gluten free Margarita and Hawaii pizza. Both were burned. The pizza dough has no taste. I wanted to send back everything. I asked my husband to bring me some dessert then they gave him Lava cake in paper box with ice cream on side. Of course the ice cream all melted when he got home with it. They should wrapping it separately. Our all order was waste of money.
