Hard to describe how incredible this Experience was. We had a 3 hour lunch. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner, and some of his family. The warmth from the owner and his staff was amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool… rock and roll theme. And the FOOD! Some of the best food we have ever had. Multiple courses, everything picked fresh that morning in the garden. Really fantastic food, award winning!. To top it off, great wine list! Will end the review by again commenting on the warmth and friendliness of the owner and staff. Really enjoyed the experience. I would highly recommend eating at this restaurant.

Well worth the 50 Euro taxi ride! Great food in a farmhouse. Well-presented, 4-course (or 5- or 6-course if you prefer) prix-fixe menu – better than the Michelin star restaurant in town! Extensive wine list. Basic 4-course meal 68 Euro/person.
Reservations mandatory. Expect to spend 3-4 hours having a great gustatory experience.

This place is excellent. Set at a farm, a single menu/ day. Everything is fresh and delicious, service is lovely, it’s worth the trip from Beaune and surrounds.
We took a taxi from our hotel in Beaune and it was 50€ each way and took about 25 mins. You can drive, but then the wine is so good!
We also had their house label wine, which was also excellent,
Everyone speaks English

WHAT. A. PLACE.
This restaurant was the reason of my trip to Bourgondie and boy did they not disappoint.
It is located in the middle of nowhere, the piece and quiet of this place contributes to the overall experience.
The staff is super friendly, it’s a super cozy place, you can really taste that (most of) the food is homegrown at the farm of the restaurant. Field to plate. Out of this world.
Very very nice winelist as well with entry level bottles slowly building up to the expensive big names.
Highly recommended, due to combination of story, location, friendliness of staff, quality and taste of the food and the winelist my best lunch experience to date.
Will come back.

Our favorite meal on a long trip from San Francisco! Delicious food where you can taste the very high quality of ingredients. The type of place you could go back every week and never get sick of it. You can tell Carole and Fred put their hearts into the food from raising the animals and growing the produce on site to the skill in preparation. Loved talking to the couple next to us celebrating their 60th anniversary. A must go!

Quite a unique restaurant. The location is a bit remote (be cautious if you use google maps not to take the muddy path on the right when coming from Beaune) and the building doesn’t look like a restaurant. Food is gorgeous and wine selection makes it possible to discover interesting producers. Be ready to chat with your neighbors if you seat at the large table.

Amazing experience in a picturesque setting. My wife and I enjoyed a semi-private lunch whilst on our honeymoon and it was well worth the drive out to this farm. Highly recommended.

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime for my mum’s birthday. The atmosphere is atypical and warm, and the chef and his team really put their personal touch into decorating the place and creating a very friendly atmosphere. We had the small menu at 60 euros per person, with an amuse bouche, two starters, a main course, cheese and a dessert. It was really very good and served on beautiful plates. The wine list is impressive and offers a wide choice of dynamic natural and organic wines. A great way to enjoy a colourful and tasty meal with family and friends.

We went for lunch and the food was incredible. We didn’t speak much English but the chef and the host made us feel very welcome. The dessert was probably the best I’ve had in a very long time. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. They are farm to table and the farm is outside. It’s really a beautiful place and the restaurant itself is attached to the chefs home. A must visit if you’re in burgundy and definitely book in advance.
