Very good Food at a reasonable price. The location is right on Georgia Avenue. You can dine in which has about 5 tables as well as carry out. We opted to dine in for lunch. The staff are very nice and accommodating that also help explain what things are if you are not familiar. We ordered the platanos, pasteles de pollo, papusas, and chicken tacos. Everything came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. The platanos were done perfectly and soft which is what we prefer. The pasteles were very good and I really enjoyed the cabbage slaw and sauce that came with it. I really liked the papusas, they had a lot of flavor and were cooked perfectly. I recommend asking for the spicy sauce if you like heat, it adds a nice touch. The tacos were very good and extremely stuffed full of meat and topped with an avocado slice. The tortillas were very fresh and very flavorful. We will definitely be coming back here to try new things on the very large menu.

It makes me very sad to have to leave this bad review of this place. 2 years ago I visited this place when it just opened, I liked what I ordered but not enough to go back a second time. Last week I decided to visit this restaurant again and I have nothing good to say, the food was horrible, I ordered a horchata and it was the WORST horchata I have ever had in my life, I didn’t drink it and left it there, the price of the food is extremely expensive for the quality of service they provide, this is not a normal restaurant, most of what is on the menu is not available since that restaurant has a new owner and now it is a Mexican restaurant and it is no longer El Catrachito, why haven’t they changed the name? This place is not a normal restaurant. I will never set foot in that place again, what HORRIBLE and EXPENSIVE food.

I readily enjoy trying new restaurants and I was extremely excited to have found this place. I took the wrong turn, took a right turn too soon when I was trying to find it so beware of that. The pasteles were 10/10! I ordered the chicken and it was so good! I could tell they were made fresh. I also ordered the Tajadas con carne asada. My meat was cold, the tajadas tasted almost stale. If you do try this, order their special sauce on the side because it was overwhelming. My friend ordered the chicken quesadilla and there was nothing special to it, very bland. Waiter was frustrated because sometimes it was hard to understand him. I think in those instance people should have patience.

I only ever get the fried fish(This was my 4th time). It’s usually crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Tonight was not the case I got 2 plates, they were both bone dry.I brought up to the person incharge but as told they couldn’t do anything about. So I’m pretty bombed about it. Hopefully it was a one off. Their rice with beans and plantain chips that come with meal were pretty good though.

The overall atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was good. However, I think a few small improvements could make it even better. For instance, upgrading some of the serving dishes would enhance the presentation, and the spoon provided for the soup was a bit too small – more appropriate utensils would be appreciated.
Still, a great spot overall, and I’ll definitely be coming back!

Dry and perhaps reheated carne assada. Beef in the soup also dry and tough. Waited 15 minutes over the initial time I was told to get the food. Not the most affordable place neither. Too bad because I was looking forward to try this place but I’ll stick to Sardis Fusion…

We walked in and it smelt bad the worker was sick. She kept on looking at me with a nasty grin the food was really expensive . It was 8 dollars for two cokes and 16 for 2 small tacos low quantity sides. Bought a quesadilla for 12. She didn’t give my change back and when we received are food we realized that the amount we got was probably worth a 5 dollar meal and the food didn’t even taste good and we finished ts in like 5 minutes. don’t come here

The food was spectacular. I ordered the Tacos Hondureños without knowing much but when I got it it was amazing, cooked perfectly. Cashier was very friendly and had a bright mood. Most of the seating is for two to three people, so if you have a party of 5 or more I would order To Go. New fav spot for sure.
