First time here and certainly not my last! Food and service are both 10 out of 10. Chef Phil came out to interact with me table side and it added a really nice touch to my dinner. Julianna was my waitress and she was also fun and engaging table side and guided my through the menu. They have tons of different options! The Love Boat which was a fried avocado with spicy crab meat in it was a total home run! It was my favorite part of the meal. The way my sushi came out too in this beautiful flaming metallic swan. The whole experience was just awesome. The physical location of the venue is also super neat. Tucked away in what is essentially the back of a house from the outside, the space has a super super cool speak easy feel. And I appreciate the free parking lot in the back. 10000% I will be back here again and very soon with friends!

I really enjoyed my visit to Ninja Sushi! It’s a small, cute little spot with such a fun atmosphere. When you walk in, they play the drums based on how many people come in, which was such a unique and lively touch.
The prices here were amazing—we ordered so much food and everything felt worth it.
We started with the Spicy Chicken Ramen, and wow! The portion was huge, easily enough for three people. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with a little kick of spice. Definitely one of my favorites of the night.
Next up was the Sweet Potato and Cucumber Roll, which added a nice touch of sweetness alongside the savory dishes. It was simple but refreshing.
The Udon Noodles with Shrimp and Vegetables were another highlight—comforting, hearty, and full of flavor.
One of the most impressive dishes was the Fire Roll, which arrived in a stunning swan-shaped aluminum presentation. Not only was it adorable and aesthetic, but the roll itself had the perfect mix of sweet and spicy flavors.
But the star of the night was the Bang Bang Sushi Roll. This was hands down our favorite. We almost ordered another round of it, but with how much food we already had, we had to stop ourselves. Still, it’s a must-try!
To top it all off, when we received our check, they gave us free probiotic drinks. Such a thoughtful and unique touch.
I came on a Saturday evening and loved how it wasn’t loud—the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. The employees were very kind, attentive, and responsive. They not only kept checking in on us but also cleaned the table often and gave great suggestions when we asked about the most popular drinks.
The restaurant itself was very clean and well-organized, which made the experience even better.
Overall, Ninja Sushi is a gem. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I ordered Ninja Ramen which I thought was like a tonkotsu ramen but was very Americanized. Just a boiled egg not even soy marinated egg. Had a slice of seaweed & bamboo but I don’t understand why spinach, carrots & corn?? And the 3 pieces of chashu pork were not tender, tough to bite through. I need to redeem this ramen at another authentic ramen spot.

Ninja Sushi is the epitome of a hidden gem! Wow, this place is truly incredible! Phil and his team serve up outstanding sushi, some of the best in NJ by far! The staff is super kind and the restaurant makes you feel right at home with its unique decor. Our favorite rolls were the OMG and Fire rolls. Incredible flavors and prepared to perfection! Be sure to add Ninja Sushi to your must try list for NJ restaurants. BYOB so don’t forget to bring your favorite bottle along with you!
