Looking for a true Southern meal as we cruised through Georgia on Friday (9/5/25), we stumbled upon Judy’s and wow, are we glad we did! The food was absolutely outstanding and the people (both staff and fellow diners) made it feel like more than just lunch… it was an experience!

From the moment we walked in, a customer leaving held the door for us and cheerfully said, “Get on in there and get some lunch!” That set the tone. On the way out, three kind gentlemen insisted I cut in front of them so I could snag a peach cobbler to-go.

We waddled out with full bellies, happy hearts, and a story to bring back home. I can’t say enough about how warm and welcoming everyone was and how flavorful every bite tasted! Special note…I’m not usually a sweet tea fan… but real Georgia sweet tea…Consider me a fan!

Portions were generous, prices were more than fair, and flavor was off the charts. If you’re looking for the real taste of the South…this is it.

AMAZING SERVICE and GREAT ATMOSPHERE!!! I stopped in here to try the new neighborhood spot. Was pleasantly surprised by the music and old school vibe… the staff was kind and endearing, calling out the regulars like they were friends and family… I ordered $45 worth of food because I wanted to try everything. There was NO SEASONING on the food… I’m not talking about salt, (there was no salt) but there was also no pepper, parsley, onion powder, etc… very bland flavor throughout all the food… the cheese they used had no taste, super mild. They definitely need to invest in a strong cheddar… the shining star was the biscuits! Fluffy and Delicious… I will be returning for them…

In town for work. Coworker and I passed this joint earlier in the day and decided to try it. The interior is no frills, not much in decor. There’s a buffet once you enter. The staff is very efficient and quick to help you to decide.

I had their dark meat chicken combo with a side of pinto beans and stewed tomatoe/okra. They ran out of dark meat so I got a leg and two wings. They also gave me two cornbreads. My coworker got their white fish combo.

The chicken was seasoned well, but was a bit on the greasy side. The beans and stewed tomatoe/okra were tasty but lacked salt. Overall we had a decent meal.

I did a search for some food and found this place in Lilburn and they did not disappoint. The grits were great. The chicken was good. The pancakes were phenomenal. Great price great service and grateful I couldn’t ask for anything better. I will definitely be back when I’m on that side of town.

Quick country breakfast or lunch, cafeteria style. Everything I’ve tried has been pretty darn good and not over salted. The atmosphere is easy going and the locals are friendly if you care to strike up a conversation. The employees are polite and helpful, and everyone is welcomed.

The reason I chose Judy was because I was two blocks away at a customer’s business and the ice cold air kept blowing in strong flavors of breakfast You can smell country fried ham and buttery biscuits and grits and eggs two blocks away I could stop there that should let you know how good the food was but I will tell you upon entering it was a bright happy atmosphere and is always a good sign when the local police is there eating cuz they normally choose good places to eat The food looked good on the serving line and it literally tasted like heaven I was humming while I was eating I had the country fried ham which melted in your mouth grits that worse cooked to perfection eggs that will cook to perfection and a
beautiful biscuit and coffee It was amazing second to none

Food is more on the bland side. Amount for the price is okay, but not quality. After going on a Thursday we ordered three platters. The turkey and dressing platter in particular barely had any Turkey meat. Great customer/quick service. Was just hoping for better.
