Ordered a bowl and chicken plate to go. The servings on the chicken shawarma plate looked much smaller than I remember, and it had no salad. When we got home, my husband said the chicken was so dry and hard, so he drove all the way back. The guy behind the counter took off the old chicken and slid on some new chicken kabob, right over the cold rice and handed it back to my husband, without the tzatziki sauce. My husband didn’t notice he took out the sauce until he got home. We will never eat here again. Next time we will go to Sultans, where the food servings are huge for the same price, tastes better, and they get the order right.

I ordered a pick up through uber eats. I ordered the double protein plate. Was missing my sweet potato fries, and my baklava i ordered for dessert. To piss me off even further after ripping me off the food was not worth 35$ it was stale and old. I couldnt even get a repalcement or refund for the items you didnt serve me.

I had stopped coming to this restaurant after something occurred with a customer service person there a few months ago. The food is generally good here. But upon returning after the few months for the first time again today, I found that they served me about half of the amount of chicken that they used to. I realize that costs have increased, but my Kid’s Kabob Bowl was almost exclusively rice with four pieces of chicken (I counted them). Also, I asked for a receipt at point of sale, but as I discovered when I returned out, the young woman had given me a sort of claim ticket for the order, rather than a receipt with the amount that I spent at the restaurant. Lastly, I had to tell the young cashier woman that their Pepsi was out of syrup, as they apparently weren’t monitoring the soda machine. Something has changed. I might wait again for a time before going back.

Food is wonderful as always. We just changed office and decided to come to this location. Usually we go to the one on California.
Coming to this location was a huge mistake. Customer service was terrible.
After receiving our food, one of us realized we did not get our fries. Then went to the counter and ask if we can just have a refund for the fries, since we ordered those separately anyway.
Instead of trying to figure out the situation, they immediately said that fries were not ordered with this meal that it came with another person’s meal. After showing them the receipt they just wanted to give us the fries which if it was 15 minutes prior, it would’ve been fine but we’re already getting ready to leave. We just happened to notice.
I cannot believe they would argue over something like this.

Very impressed with the freshness, flavors and generosity of portions. Especially in a shrinking world of portions in the grocery store.
Zanye was the cashier, server and manager both times I’ve been here this week. He understands customer service and etiquette.
I’ve observed him not only taking care of my needs but also other customers. Opening the door for man that had his hands full with his to go order. Taking food to the table while customers are seated instead expecting them to come to the counter. Common sense kindness is not very common. Give Zanyne a raise please.

They are the best in town. Food is always great quality and I have never gotten a wrong order. Zayne is the best cashier, always friendly and helpful with what to order. He definitely deserves a raise for all the many tasks he handles.

When the food is good and the staff get the order right, this place is pretty good, but sadly, this is rarely the case. I’ve occasionally bought food here throughout the past year, and nine times out of ten, the staff get the order wrong. On a few occasions, the food itself was just horrible quality. I’ve driven home with takeout several times only to find that they gave me the wrong items, or completely forgot to give me certain items all together. I started checking my bag in the restaurant to save myself an extra trip to get the rest of the order I paid $15 for, which has in the past ended up costing more due to the time, gas, and hassle it costs to drive back and forth to pick up missing items. I’ve even seen people walk back into the restaurant to ask for missing items while I was there waiting for my order! Check the other one star reviews, it is very common for the staff at this location to forget items or get orders wrong. To top it off, they usually take 20 minutes to make the order. Imagine waiting 20 minutes to then drive home and realize your order is wrong or has items missing after paying $15+ for your meal. If your order is correct and complete, you better hope the chefs took the time to cook the rice and chicken properly. Last night was the final time I will give this place my business. When I arrived 20 minutes after placing an order, the cashier gave me a bag that only had HALF my order in it! It was missing an entire plate and a bag of fries! Even then, the order that was in the bag was wrong! The chefs quickly made the other half of the order after arguing with the cashier about how they didnt forget anything, then realizing half the order was missing. I checked it, and it was WRONG! I just wanted to get home and eat, so I left. When I got home and started eating, I realized the chicken and rice were undercooked and the garlic sauce was extremely sour. I think the chefs tried to cover up their mistake by quickly making the extra plate within a minute, but it ended up being horrible quality and undercooked, which isn’t much of an improvement. I’ve had bad experiences giving this place business in the past, but yesterday was the final straw. I threw away half of my plate after paying $30+ for my wife and I to eat this horrible quality food. I will not be giving Flame & Skewers another penny after this. I shouldn’t have given them so many chances seeing how consistently bad my experiences have been giving them my business. I never leave reviews, good or bad, but I want to let people know how their experience will most likely go if they decide to give Flame & Skewers on Allen their business. Save your money and go to Sultans instead! The portions are better for the same price, and the quality is 10x better!
