Have come a few times over the past year. Two tent experiences and one inside the speak easy. The food, cocktails and service is wonderful! Owner is incredibly sweet and thoughtful with her guests, menu and aesthetic. These are pictures from the Valentines Day Pre Fixe menu – delish!

We visited Animarum last evening with high expectations – and Animarum delivered – big time. We ate in the Speak Easy. The small plates selection is excellent and we had quite the dinner night out with friends. Scallops were great, coconut prawns were tasty, enjoyed the half Lobster tail, we all had the 8oz ribeye – and we had more. The plates came out one at a time, so we had a leisurely evening. The atmosphere is intimate, low lighting and decor is well done – cozy seating. Moved to Gig Harbor in June from Bellevue. Animarum is on the top of our list now. We will be back – very enjoyable evening. Keep it up A team. A woman owned biz as well . . . Nice.

We’ve eaten here for dinner and decided to try the pop up window experience. We got the poutine and al pastor tacos. Poutine was crispy, tacos were flavorful, our tummies were happy. Everything is made in house and was delicious! The staff were helpful, kind and thorough. We will definitely be back!!

The paella was absolutely insane. 6 inch lobster tail, 6 inch lobster claw, and so many muscles. To enjoy all this in a private tent was just perfect.

My husband and I have eaten at their speakeasy, and also used them for our cocktail reception for our wedding. These guys are absolutely AMAZING in everything they do. The food, drinks, and service are all fantastic. The chef and owner are wonderful and friendly people who took the utmost care of us all night for our reception, and went above and beyond. The cocktails were fun and yummy, and the food was so delicious and such a hit with our group. We can’t recommend Animarum enough for a nice night out or for any intimate get-togethers!

Craving a fine dining experience in a small unique setting? Look no further than Animarum. There is almost no proper way to describe the food their amazing chef prepares. I was very impressed to be seated by the owner. She is extremely friendly and obviously loves giving her customers a truly fantastic dining experience. From the elegant presentation of each course to the suggestions of just the right wine to pair with our meals…we were just amazed. We will be customers for life. We love supporting small local restaurants and will be recommending Animarum to all of our friends and family. Thank you for a great experience!

A weekly customer of Animarum for take-out, I was intrigued by the new tents and compliments, overheard, being made to the chef. I and three friends went recently. My friends were delighted with the interior decorations which truly transported us to Morocco. Extremely comfortable and intimate, we had what is a unique meal during this pandemic. We were safely isolated in a comfortable setting with heat and lap blankets. As always, the food was delicious and the service exemplary. Although we are not foodies, we all valued Chef Tracey’s enthusiastic descriptions of the spices and textures we would be encountering. Treat yourselves ….. GO !!

Amazing dining experience in the yurts! Beautifully decorated in the morroccan theme and so comfortable. An old fashion cocktail was a great way to start the evening off. Each part of the themed menu was explained and elegantly plated. We were very impressed with how delicious everything was! Thank you Animarum for a wonderful dinner to celebrate our anniversary.

Especially charmed by the new and comfortable indoor seating configuration, we enjoyed the exotic decor ambiance of classical antiquity. Because we were so undecided on the impressive menu, we left our cocktail choices to our knowledgeable hostess and requested chef Kat to select our small plates. Everything was such a sumptuous, culinary delight…well seasoned, perfectly cooked, artistically presented. A fabulous night out in Gig Harbor.
