Great place, i ordered the all meat pizza and had a medium all to my self, along with a penne shrimp pasta. Everything was excellent! My family and I enjoyed it. Will definitely be back. The service was also on point.

I recently visited Campisi’s on Lovers Lane in Dallas and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu has a good variety of Italian dishes, and everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. A solid spot for a tasty Italian meal.

Love During the Date Getaways and Lunch Dates ✨
I love me a good meal and babyyy this was a 9/10 in my book. I judged the outside at first but the inside was beautiful with the vibe, the dim lights, and the real authentic Italian food.
We started off with one of my favorites, bruschetta, then the blue shell crab claws which were a solid 10/10. I even dipped my pizza in the sauce.
The pizza board came with two types. One side was All The Way Pizza and the other side was Meat Extreme, both 8/10.
We paired everything with a Calloway Chardonnay and an 11 Minutes Italian Rosé. For dessert we had the Italian cream cake, another 8/10.
Man I cannot wait to go back and try more. If I have not tempted you enough this is truly a MUST GO in Dallas. ✨

The last 3 times here over 4 years has been horrible. Failed again tonight. I was with a friend from high school who was in town and he wanted to go to the Mockingbird location because that was the only one in the 70s-80s. My head sank because the Lovers Lane location is perfect!!!
I told the waitress specifically, “an all the way pizza, minus mushrooms, triple garlic and extra crispy – so the toppings are toasted. I do not want the toppings in the center like you normally do – I want all toppings to the edge of the crust.”
Ugh, again – a total failure. Look at the photo! Toppings only in the center. The outer 2 inches is only cheese and garlic. You can barely see any salami or Italian sausage anc onions are everywhere. Almost under cooked – no where close to crispy! (A machine could do better!!)
Of course being with my friend I could not complain. So I went to my normal location (Lovers Lane), showed the manager (Derick) the pizza Mockingbird gave me. He knows me and what I like (as does 1/2 of the staff!) He was equally appalled.
I ask him to take a photo and send it to the Mockingbird manager and share my story. And throw it in the trash! I choked down 2 baby slices only to be tell my friend I has a late lunch as was full. (Mockingbird – I’LL NEVER GO BACK – EVEN IF YOU OFFER FREE FOOD FOR LIFE!!!!!!!!)
Of course Derick offered to make me a replacement pizza – and I refused twice. But when he added a free bourbon and coke… I broke down and said ok – but only a small. (See 2nd photo – a perfect pie!!)
Lesson learned. From now on, every friend who pops in town and wants to go to Mockingbird – I will tell them of my last 4 experiences and how Lovers Lane is the VIP place to go! Screw the atmosphere and nostalgia of Mockingbird!!!
Avoid Mockingbird at all costs!!! Order Dominos instead (or better – eat in or do a pick up at Lovers Lane!!)

So happy we found this place!! Super close to the airport. This little gem is hidden in a strip mall and shouldn’t be passed up. Once inside it is beautifully decorated and a lovely up scale restaurant. Small bar with great selection. They have a few tvs around the restaurant so you can watch your favorite sports while dining. A perfect date night spot. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Service was friendly. Spent some time chatting with the manager who was super friendly. To top it off, the food was fabulous!! Loved the fresh bread, bruschetta was perfect. Their pizza is awesome! They have awesome marinara!! Wish we lived in town because we would definitely go back to try the chicken parm and other menu items. Really can’t say enough good things about our experience here!!

We took my in-laws here to celebrate their anniversary. It was our first time to this place and found the ambiance to warm an intimate. This would be a great place for a date night. The service by our waitress Neveah was fantastic. The staff in general was very warm, welcoming, and eager to be of service. The food was delicious. We started with the appetizers “Randy White” Ravioli and Calimari both were delicious. I tried the Sautéed Shrimp Scampi, which was a little different in the sense the shrimp wasn’t cooked in/with the sauce but I still really liked it. My wife got the eggplant parmesan it was the best I’ve ever tasted. If you like Italian food this is the place to go.

Very nice little Italian place. Practically empty on a Sunday evening. Lots of personalized attention. Loved the place. The food was good – not the best but better than similarly priced places. Dessert was best and we’ll presented.
