very beautiful restaurant. We sat inside, which is lovely, but they also have a gorgeous and very pleasant patio for dining outdoors. Our server was very friendly and attentive

We started with the crab cakes and the artichokes. The artichokes were absolutely delicious. Several people ordered the risotto and really enjoyed it. I had the Provençal salad with chicken, which was also delicious.

The highlight of the meal, though, was the chocolate chip cookie skillet à la mode. It was incredible and definitely the best part of the restaurant !

We’ve eaten brunch here 3x now and it’s one of our favorite spots in Austin! Super cute inside and out with excellent service from the bar tenders to servers to chef. We’ve sat at the bar on one occasion, inside table another and outside (in the shade) and all have been great. Highly recommend reservations as it’s been busy every time we’ve been here.

I also appreciate that there’s onsite parking (free) and even though the main lot is often full, there’s extra spaces by the shops next door (all part of the same complex).

Now, onto the food… we’ve sampled a lot and the fall burrata is my fave. The avocado toast, migas, artichoke, and charcuterie board are also excellent. And of course, the pastries and chocolate chip cookies are a must try every time you come! Overall, prices are fair and portions are generous, we leave happy and full every time.

Highly recommend trying this spot out for a brunch date, girls get-together or even an adult birthday meal. If you have to wait for a table, go next door to Tiny’s milk and cookies and grab coffee and treats while you wait. Enjoy!

I placed a to-go order today and arrived 5 minutes before the pick up time to ensure my food was of the highest quality. I get home to enjoy my food the sweet potato fries are delicious but my avocado sandwich smells horrible because the avocados are far too ripe. I cannot believe this restaurant served this as it even looks bad. I am extremely disappointed because I used to really enjoy their food. I tried taking a bite but it is inedible.

Amazing dining experience at Tiny Boxwoods Austin! I’ve tried their cookies before, but never ate onsite at their restaurant. I’ve been missing out all these years. They have a wonderful staff, from the front to our server. The pasta was delicious and just the right portion. I recommend this place if you’re in the Rosedale area.

Dog friendly and great service. Definitely recommend and the cocktails are great, especially strong! Plenty of food options, but in the pricier side. If you’re looking to splurge, come here!

Has attentive, fast and helpful service at the bar. The young male bar tender even helped me discover a new Italian white I hadn’t yet tried. The portion on the avocado toast with smoked salmon is impressive! Couldn’t even finish it all. Also the vibes of the place, very cottage core. So cute for a girls brunch.

Parking – there’s a lot with several spaces, more parking at the complex next door, and some street parking next to that. Can be difficult/hectic during prime brunch hours.

Reservations are recommended (when possible) as they can get very busy. I’ve been here a couple of times (once seated at a table, twice at the bar). The table service was great and the waiters were attentive. The bar service is hit or miss, on one occasion sitting near the coffee machines, we felt very rushed by the bartender – we were planning to order some pastries to go, but we were just given the check right after getting our entrees.

Food –
Pastry board – a good option if you have a couple pastries that you want to try. The vanilla bean brioche is amazing – would 100% get again, the chocolate croissant was good, and I would skip the chocolate & orange croissant next time – this was good but nothing special.

Migas – very good and filling. Overall rating 5/5.

Breakfast Sammie with sausage – everything was great about this, the eggs, protein, and even the side of potatoes. A bit heavier but delicious. Overall rating 5/5.

Burger – got this during a different visit and it was also very good. The fries were good, but not my favorite. Overall rating 4/5.

I was lucky to get a parking spot right in front for Sunday brunch. The parking lot is very small and a market was taking up half of it. They do offer valet.

We sat outside and it was a beautiful day. It is a very relaxing garden atmosphere that is so unlike most places in Austin. It felt more like an east coast beach town than anything else.

It was hard to choose, but felt like a sandwich and took the waiter’s advice to get sweet potato waffle fries.

There’s a little bakery next door and we got sown treats to go.

Overall amazing experience and would come again.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a quick cute brunch spot this morning. We found Tiny Boxwoods and thought the vibe was nice and the food looked great through some of the photos online. Once we arrived, parking was definitely a bit difficult. However, we found a spot and walked past Tiny’s Milk and Cookies (my GFS favorite), and we’re excited to find out they were directly connected to Tiny Boxwoods.

We didn’t make a reservation, but I would highly recommend it! We got lucky because there was a table for two directly in the sun that no one else wanted lol.

While the sun was HOT, the atmosphere made up for it! Our server was so kind and very helpful. She answered all of our questions and even let us in on some tips that made us so excited to come back! (Hint: Pastry board=Tiny’s…).

We ordered the Turkey Avocado Club Sandwich as well as the Lucky Burger. We split both and nobody was disappointed!

The club had a perfect balance of pesto and avocado while the turkey was fresh and filling. The burger was simple but in the absolute best way possible. The bun was fluffy and the meat was cooked well! The patty just melted in the mouth! Both sides (sweet potato and regular fries) paired very well with the main entree!

We are so excited to come back for that pastry board ;))

We sat in the garden of the restaurant. I would say this is a better option than sitting inside. A great place to enjoy the wine and delicious food. I love the fresh and local ingredients and that it’s not typically American food. But it’s typically well-cooked food.
