I have been coming to Woodys for years and have always enjoyed the food. Today was a disappointing experience. The food (sandwich and fries) were extremely bland even after I attempted to season it at the table. The fries were very dark and tasted burned despite not being overcooked (dirty fryer oil maybe?). The table was sticky, we asked for a wipe down, it was quickly wiped down again and was still sticky afterwards. Even the person that sat in the booth next to us asked for their table to be wiped due to being sticky. Hoping maybe they were just having an off day because this is NOT the woodys I have experienced in the past.

My second time eating here and the food was just as good. Lunch can be busy but they have plenty of room to accommodate. I got the Crispy Chicken wrap. It was good! Best food in Ashland!

All new to us, my son and his wife met us there today. Really an awesome place. It’s not an upscale snobby place, but it’s not a crappy dirty dive bar either. Lots of people but lots of space, (so you don’t feel crowded). All clean. The food is great. Fast, friendly service. Highly recommend.

The menu has something for everyone, from hearty favorites to lighter bites, and everything comes out fresh and flavorful. Impressive cuisine, slightly pricey. Tater tots are a must-try. Outdoor patio allows smoking. Bathrooms consistently clean. Service can be sluggish at times, a minor downside.
