My first visit to Plantation Café in Hilton Head was truly unforgettable. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a hostess whose warm smile and gracious Southern hospitality instantly made me feel at home.
I ordered a classic American breakfast, and every bite was delicious—comforting, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was just as wonderful: inviting, relaxed, and filled with friendly, courteous people who made the space feel alive with genuine kindness.
What made the experience especially meaningful was our waitress Lupita. She was incredibly pleasant, offered thoughtful recommendations, and took the time to share a genuine conversation with us. It didn’t feel like dining out it felt like sitting around the table at home with family.
Plantation Café isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place where you feel seen, welcomed, and cared for. Without a doubt, it earns five shining stars from me.

Perfect small town southern diner feel. The eggs benedict Nova was absolutely delicious and our server was amazing! Typical look and feel of a simple Small Town diner found in most breakfast diners across the southeastern United States, with that same warm and welcoming atmosphere you come to expect. A small slice of home on an otherwise busy vacation.

Loving the friendly staff, the uplifting holiday music and the Yummy Shrimp & Grits. Waaaay better than the hotel food where I’m staying (bleahk, over priced, bland and trying to be foo-foo). So glad I came in. Highly recommend the soothing neighborhood vibe.

Hey went in on Christmas eve 45 minutes before they closed with my children and they treated us like family! Coffee was hot, food was delicious and came out fast! I had the chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy hash browns. Huge plate of fruit. Thanks for being open and for the hospitality.

Very much enjoyed the meal we had here. The place was packed and the tables are configured to achieve max occupancy so it seemed quite crowded and lout at first. We ended up in a booth a the noise seemed to tamp down so we were able to converse & enjoy a high quality breakfast.

if you want a breakfast that tastes good and you get decent portions go here. You get your moneys worth and the coffee is good and fresh. If you’re a decaf fan the waitress knows the difference between regular and decaf and they don’t try to top you off mixing the two.
It’s better than the one on pope avenue. The eggs and hash browns are wonderful. The sausage links are good but avoid the patties as they are like jail food, small, hard and not the tender and sweet patties like At the Hampton inn. If you get a skillet dish the food is warm and tasty. Although it’s up in the air as to whether they use eggs or not. The fruit is fresh.

We went there when we visited Hilton head a few weeks ago. This is one of the best brunch places there. Period. The staff was extremely friendly. The food was top notch; the best and the most fluffiest eggs you’ll ever have. Pancake was meh along with the bagel but the waffle was amazing. My entire family enjoyed the entire experience thoroughly.
I highly recommend this place and will definitely revisit when I’m on the island next time.

Day three of our South Carolina adventure and before we hit the waves and sew what Hurricane Elsa left, it was time to feed the monkies. The first meal of the day has to be breakfast so this location surfaced online and we took off with the two year old leading the way yelling “GO GO.” We arrived and as we’ve noticed many places are located inside strip malls. As you enter, you will be seated and it’s mainly table and chair set up which is difficult for a family of 5.
Our server saw the issue and moved us to a bigger table set up. The monkies order Belgian waffle, croissant, egg for Cashew. Mother of Cashew had two egg meal and I had the Ranchers breakfast with side of pancakes. The service was positive, not like our dinner later that day, and quick. The waffle was golden and big. The croissant was above average size. The two egg meal was well cooked with a great tasting golden hashbrowns. The Ranchers also had a great taste and over easy eggs perfect. I’m not gonna lie in today’s climate, the name kind of made me hesitant but the service, food, and price $54 makes it a must stop in the area. Our son Cashew requests, you like and share this review.
