Excellent food & amazing service. I was just in Thailand and the food here is authentic & delicious. They are very willing to make dietary accommodations- I got the Pad Thai without fish oil & mushrooms. I must mention that I just stumbled upon this hidden gem. I met the owner in the elevator at Whole Foods. She had a bunch of mangoes in her cart & I asked what she was making. She told me it was for her restaurant & invited me to come try it. A few hours later I showed up to pick up dinner & it was a lovely moment. I look forward to being back next time I’m in town.

We are huge Thai food fans and have eaten at just about every Thai place in Salt Lake City and the surrounding area. I don’t know how we didn’t hear about Chanon sooner, but it is absolutely our new favorite spot! It was not nearly busy enough for the quality of food that they served us! The atmosphere was also so inviting and they made us feel right at home. As soon as we sat down and smelled their homemade sauces we knew we would be regulars from now on. They have so many options that you can’t find anywhere else in the area and the prices are incredible!! They even gave us extra sauce cups to take with us because we loved their sauces so much! The food was so filling but not heavy and their menu even included nutritional facts. This family run business truly feels like a slice of home ala thailand. We can’t wait to come back and try more of your menu!

The ingredients taste fresh, they give sticky rice by default, and the food itself puts this in the top 3 thai restaurants I’ve been to. The portion sizes are very large and the prices very reasonable. The service is friendly and the food came out quickly despite the many other customers here. My friends and I all ordered different curries, and all were very good.

Excellent Thai food, one of my new favorites. I don’t know how I’d never heard about this place, but luckily my friends mentioned it and so we made dinner plans. We got 4-5 dishes and shared them family style and everything was amazing. Good sized portions, fantastic flavors, and wonderful service. Apparently, they have an awesome lunch menu as well, which I plan to try soon. This is exactly the kind of local place you want to support in your neighborhood and city. Can’t wait to go again. Oh, and by the way, the prices are extremely reasonable, which is a huge plus given the current inflation in prices for just about everything.

I got takeout from here and ordered drunken noodles. The noodles came with absolutely ZERO sauce. The entire dish was completely dry. Literally plain noodles with plain beef and plain vegetables. I asked them to replace my order and they just gave me the same thing again (plain noodles with meat and vegetables) with cold sauce on the side, which is NOT how drunken noodles are made. They are supposed to be cooked in the sauce. I did not pay to mix and cook my own food. Will not be ordering from here again.

This place is so cute! I think it’s a family owned business and the owners are really nice. We tried the Tom yum and the pad Tai and it was really good. The tables are kind of squished together, but it gives off the family vibe I guess haha the building may look old, but they keep the place nice and the bathroom is really clean. There are random plants here and there and I really liked the atmosphere. Again, their food is amazing as well, so I’ll definitely come back to try other menus.

Wow, my new favorite Thai place in Salt Lake City. We had 4 entrees and they were all amazing. Customer service is top notch and so very friendly. We had the Satay and pork potsticker appetizers . For the meal we had Pad Preaw Wan / sweet and sour, Pad Prik Paow, Pad Siew, and Pad Kee Mao. Fantastic comes to mind. All of it. I highly recommend you give this place some dining time.
