I work in a restaurant, so I typically don’t do things like this but I had to this time…. I came in and waited 17 mins to be seated while 7 different employees looked at me and didn’t say anything…. We almost turned around and walked out, they had 2 employees sitting on their phones staring at us and didn’t help. Then was given a dirty cup that wasn’t even attempted to be filled all the way. Again I don’t typically leave reviews let alone bad ones because I work in the service industry and I get how it is sometimes but man I would be so disappointed if my staff at my restaurant gave service like this.

Today is January 14th, 2026. I just wanted to leave a comment because out of all the years I have been coming to Applebee’s today was the first time that I saw the entire staff work as a team!! It was impressive and amazing to see so many of the staff members and how well they work together!! The staff today needs hand up for the amazing service.!!!

I’ve gone three different times… been sat down and took over 15 minutes everytime and no one would still even come over and ask what drink we want but serve other people they just sat. Never even been able to try this Applebees because the service here is by far the worst service you could imagine. My co workers always steer me and tell me how awful this location is. But i like to give benefit of the doubt, but that’s hard to do when they sit you and don’t serve you!

Excellent service! And great food. The 10 dollar meal deal is where it’s at. Love the margaritas as well. Lyric is an excellent bartender as well as Taryn. Taryn be serving the house boots down go girl! Teri is is always on top of it and make sure my order is placed in a timely manner. Love the bar. Very few places you can go get a drink and a full meal for under $20. Thanks Nikki!! The store has definitely turned around since Nikki the manager has taken over.

Came at 8:35 but didn’t get even our appetizer until 9:25. Our server was extremely slow for a not-crowded restaurant. Food was excellent as always. Ordered the cedar salmon and tomato basil soup. Service was a little slow.

Everything was great, where was a mix up with a side dish on child’s order and the refill a drinks wasn’t brought to the table, it sat at the bar for 10 minutes until went to get it our self.

Spent the weekend at Treasure Island and ran into Red Wing for some lunch. Applebee’s was our stop. The service was great, our food was hot and flavorful.

The food at the Applebees in red wing is misleading. 3 weeks ago went there and ordered a steak. When it arrived it was one of the worst steak I’ve had. It was nothing like the image and it was rubbery. Couple days ago we went again I ordered a burger. Again nothing like the picture of a big burger but it came out looking like a Culver’s burger. I have been eating at Applebees for a very long time and either they are going under or just serving cheaper food but the last two time I’ve gone I have decided not again. This is probably not all Applebees but the one in Red Wing is having some issues.

If I could give half a star, I would — but I’ll round up for the sheer absurdity of the experience. I didn’t expect Applebee’s to be fine dining, but I did expect edible food. My “burger” arrived with a mystery sauce so watery it could’ve been ladled from a puddle in the parking lot. The bun was soggy, the patty was gray, and the whole thing had the personality of a microwaved sponge.
Then came the fries — all six of them. Yes, six. I counted. When we asked for more (you know, like a normal serving of fries), our server cheerfully informed us that would be an extra side order. I almost laughed, thinking it was a joke. It wasn’t. Apparently, in this Applebee’s universe, potatoes are a luxury item.
If you’re craving disappointment garnished with regret and a dash of confusion, this is your spot. Otherwise, save yourself and head literally anywhere else that serves food. Even the gas station down the street would have been an upgrade.
