I live here in Ville Platte and I’ve given McDonald’s more chances than I should have. It doesn’t matter what time of day or night I go, whether I order through the drive-thru or ahead in the app — I am always told to pull into a parking spot and wait.
At this point, it feels intentional. It seems like cars are moved out of the drive-thru line just to make the drive-thru times look faster than they really are. Meanwhile, the actual wait once you park is ridiculous. My average wait time is over 20 minutes — for fast food.
And let’s talk about the ice cream machine. The last five times I’ve gone, it has magically been “broken.” Five times in a row. That’s not bad luck — that’s a pattern.
When you’re paying fast-food prices, you expect fast-food service. Instead, it feels like a slow sit-down experience without the service. Very disappointing for a location that serves a small town where people notice consistency — and unfortunately, the consistency here is long waits and excuses.
I really hope management addresses this, because right now it’s not living up to what people expect.

So the drive thru lady was extremely rude, no shocker McDonald’s service is predictable.
Food was wrong. Also no shocker, I look forward to the 50% discount of my having my lunch made the next day. But now I can’t do that either because they leave the phone off the base so incoming calls don’t go through and it’s a busy line (one of the managers confirmed this to be true.)
Actually a horrific establishment, it’s such a shame Burger King’s menu is objectively worse or there’d be no reason to come to this terrible restaurant. This is my 2nd 1 star review, my first one was years ago, so literally no improvement since last time I lived here, wild how consistently a place can suck.

Very disappointed..I ordered just 2 regular cheeseburgers and I was asked to pull forward and when I finally got my food the cheeseburgers were so small they looked like sliders. And its all the burgers. I had gotten a Big Mac and it too shrank. What BS about it is that they are making the the food so much smaller and charging way too much money for their food and its pathetic. $2.29 for one little cheeseburger. Very Dissatisfied with McDonalds

Absolutely unreal how the American Flag is portrayed at this McDonald’s. The cord is broken, flag is frayed and not even all the way up. If you are going to have an American Flag do the right thing with it and take care of it.

Didn’t have sweet tea so gave me you sweet with all the syrup puddled on the bottom. Gave me the wrong burger and when I took it back they wouldn’t correct their order because it had one bite taken out of it. First time experiencing this from McDonald’s. Don’t recommend

The absolute worst service ever. Rudest employees. Mess up every single order and take their sweet time “fixing” the problem. Will make you pull up to wait and serve every customer that pulls up after you. Every time they make me pull up to wait I have to go inside. Today I waited 15 minutes for an ORANGE JUICE before having to go inside and still had to wait. Then watched my orange juice sit on the counter for 5 minutes before it was brought to me.

Almost every time I come here my order is wrong, takes forever to be made or is just forgotten about all together. The staff for the most part is friendly, they just don’t have a quality control. Always check your food before you leave because they have also forgotten to give me food at times.

I went in and ordered 5 medium Quarter Pounder with Cheese meals and was even told they were made correctly. All of them barely had any toppings whatsoever and none of them had any cheese. Then when we tried calling to complain, nobody would answer the phone despite them still being open.

I work out here and order on the app. 90% of the time and it’s still wrong. I don’t have time to go back and have them fix my order. How hard is it to look at a screen and fix the correct thing? If you order food for the family, better sit there and check it all because I can promise you that it’s wrong. Not a hard job people.
