We love to stop at the Natural Bridge hotel when we’re traveling. The Red Fox Tavern adjoins the lobby. We can stop for a hot meal and cocktail to recharge. Beth was our host tonight and she is absolutely fantastic. She made us feel welcome and came to check on us frequently. The friendliness of the staff is what makes this spot special.

We had a great experience at the Red Fox Tavern inside the Natural Bridge Hotel. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive from start to finish. We ordered the cheeseburger, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor. The appetizers were great as well. If you’re lucky, maybe Beth will be working! She was fantastic even though the restaurant was at capacity. She didn’t miss a beat.
The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax after exploring the Natural Bridge area. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in town. Highly recommend!

I just enjoyed a delicious tomato bisque with spiritus libations. The food was (and has been in the past) absolutely delicious in a delightful environment. I’ve been coming to Natural Bridge at least 2 to 3 times annually for 20 years and was disappointed last evening when I came as a member of Friends of Natural Bridge and found the restaurant and Red Fox to be closed. What a disappointment!
The staff tonight were outstanding! Perhaps their names were Shane and Jennifer. What a team.

If you want food, find something else. Employees were trying but it was frustrating. The place was well worn and too hot. We tried to enjoy our meal but several things came out incorrect. Even once corrected it was so so. so much potential.
Service was very slow but I feel like the staff was overwhelmed.
The drinks are good which is a win in the hotel.

Beth was an excellent server. We had her our first night and first breakfast. The reason for the three on service was that other than Beth the service poor. We waited 15 min for the condiments and the food got cold. The hamburger was served plain after the service er took down all the order.

When we walked in several tables were being served but no big groups Sign indicated that we should seat ourselves so we did so at a table close to the bar. We waited 20 mins for a server to take our drink order and another 10 mins for her to bring them. When they arrived all the fountain sodas were flat. Server blamed the ice. As soon as she brought the drinks we ordered food. They indicated that half the menu was not available, no Alfredo, no onions, no tacos, no grits. Server did not bring our utensils when she brought the salads we founds the bin where they wrapped them and helped ourselves. My wife ordered spaghetti and the noodles were waterery and the sauce looked like it was in a warmer all day. Chicken strips had some gray meat inside that’s when we stopped eating. At one point we over heard one of our several servers order a shot at the bar.

I was not prepared for such a low graded dinner on my roadtrip . This place is disappointing in every way possible . Worst steak I’ve ever had in my life . Atmosphere and energy disappointing. Waitress was set up for disaster being the only employee . Waitress was a sweetheart through this nightmare .

Heather was awesome! She accommodated to any needs and asked about preferences before we even had to say them. Very quick to the point and very helpful. My colleague ordered the burger and it was awesome! I ordered the steak and it came with two sides- the french onion soup was yummy and the salad was good. The steak, I ordered medium rare, was a little bit undercooked in the middle but nevertheless everyone has a different meaning of medium rare so it was good nevertheless.
Thank you Natural Bridge Hotel and Heather for serving us with efficiency, kindness, and warmness. Would come again if we visit the Natural Bridge again!
