We are a military family so we’ve lived in places that has had amazing sushi, so we are fairly picky when it comes to good sushi.
All of our roll were amazing. We got a sunshine roll, rainbow and west virgina roll and all of us cleared our plates! We will definitely be coming back! It was excellent fish, excellent service and a very clean restaurant! 10 out of 10 for sure

We are glad to welcome this new restaurant to South Charleston. The food was delicious, much better than some other Hibachi locations we have ate at. My husband and I ordered the Hibachi as well as alot of appetizers. Everything was fresh and delicious. The sushi one roll was amazing. Our waiter was very friendly and professional, my cup never went dry. I would highly recommend to try this place. I hope they keep these same standards as time goes by.

I thought everything was very good. My wife enjoyed one of her Udon noodles with a side of fried rice. My panko fried Japanese “barbecue” chicken was delicious and my rice was nice and sticky, just the way I like it. We both really enjoyed the ginger dressing on the salad. We ordered a sushi roll which was beautiful and tasty. We will make a point to go back and try the hibachi.

First timer here… There wasn’t one thing I didn’t love about my experience. I driven past the place several times, as well as seeing some amazing reviews so I had to check them out. In all honesty I only went for the happy hour as I wasn’t very hungry. I ordered the blue hawaiian, calimari appetizer, neginaki appetizer & shrimp shumai appetizer. Everything was delicious, piping hot and beautifully displayed. I can’t wait to go back when I’m hungry!

Great food and atmosphere. Kids enjoyed the steak hibachi with noodles. All of the different sushi selections we had were great, especially the eel hand roll (not pictured). Definitely recommend and will be returning soon!

Food was good, the hibachi was lacking on the sauce and seasonings, the meat were cooked well, noodles lacked seasoning as well. Takoyaki was over cooked, octopus was chewy, batter was to cooked and no longer runny like it should be. Soda was even lacking in taste. Sushi was good though, decently priced, seemed fresh, large selection. Would go back for the sushi but not the hibachi.

I got the Sushi One roll and Sashimi deluxe, and I loved every bit of it! The staff was very friendly, seated me immediately, and checked up on me throughout my meal.

Went there for the first time with my lady, we both ordered steak bento boxes and we both ordered them medium rare. Hers came back a perfect medium rare, mine came back still purple and completely raw all the way through. I waited about 15 minutes for the server to come back and ask how the food was, and i asked him if they could cook it a bit longer. He said okay and took it back to the kitchen, and then came back just a few seconds later and said “You did order medium rare correct? Did you mean to order medium?” The steak i was served was completely raw, and for him to try and argue with me instead of just cooking it for a little longer is ridiculous. He then brought it back to me in seemingly the exact same condition as before. So i told him just give us boxes (i figured i would cook it at home) and we also ordered our 2nd drink a piece, and he then made us both feel like complete idiots for simply wanting to try a different drink than the first time?? A few things are very good, but other things taste like they were just boiled in plain water and thrown on the plate. The atmosphere is great and we thought it was going to be a great time, i’ve actually never had to send food back in my entire life so this experience was not ideal for a $120+ dinner for 2 people. We paid full price even though it was a horrible experience, i would not suggest spending your money at this restaurant.

honestly some of the best around! Their yum yum sauce is next level… so creamy and flavorful, I could literally put it on everything . The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. Always a great experience every time I come. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
