If you’re looking for a restaurant to host an event, Vesuvio’s is, no doubt, the place to do it. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is phenomenal to work with. They truly make the entire planning process effortless and stress-free.
We just hosted our daughter’s baptism lunch here and I truly cannot say enough amazing things. Gianna and her sister, Gabriella, coordinated everything so beautifully. They decorated the restaurant for me- going above and beyond with every little detail, and were so warm and kind to all of our guests. Their customer service is unmatched as they made the entire day feel seamless and special.
The food was incredible and there was so much of it. You absolutely get your money’s worth. Our guests are still raving about everything! The desserts they provided were fabulous and it was the perfect ending to the celebration.
Thank you, Vesuvio’s, for helping us host such a meaningful and beautiful day. We will absolutely be back!

This is by far the best pizza I have had in New Jersey. Calamari was perfectly cooked and the sauce was out of this world. The BYOB is a lot of fun and the waitress was above and beyond. Price was very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

Vesuvio is a hidden gem located in the heart of Swedesboro. Cozy BYOB vibes with your old school neighborhood Italian entrees. The baked ziti was delicious and the lasagna was amazing. The portions are definitely filling, and quality service to add.

After dropping our daughter off, we were facing a 45-minute drive home and were absolutely starving. Being unfamiliar with the area, we struggled to find a place to eat—until we happened to drive past Vesuvio’s and decided to pull in on a whim. What a blessing that turned out to be.
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a true family-run business. Their daughter(our waitress )and the rest of the staff immediately made us feel at home. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and genuine in a way you don’t experience very often anymore.
The food was exceptional—authentic Italian, fresh, and absolutely delicious. Every bite was better than the last. But what truly set Vesuvio’s apart was the service. The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Friendliness and hospitality were a solid 10 out of 10.
This was more than just a meal—it was an experience. Even though we live 45 minutes away, this place is 100% worth the drive. Fantastic atmosphere, incredible food, BYOB, and truly exceptional service. Vesuvio’s is an absolute must-visit. We will definitely be back!

This was our first experience here. We had delivery service. Order was incorrect for both of our meals however food tasted VERY good. Owner was apologetic. It was inconvenient to have to drive there for new food and the dessert that was promised was never given. Food tasted fresh, flavorful, and servings and prices fair. Large selection menu. Definitely recommend. Friendly staff.

Stopped in here after visiting Harbaugh Village on 12/13/25. We arrived around 8p, with a party of 6 and they closed at 8:30p. We ordered the stuffed cheese steak pizza, not knowing it took 40min, the entire waitress team insisted we weren’t making them stay around longer and were fine to order (we wanted to be respectful of their closing time.) It was AMAZING and the service was phenomenal! On the way out our daughter wanted a cookie and the owner gave her (and her uncle!) the last 2 as a christmas gift since the were closed the next 2 days. Him and his wife chatted and were very personable and the cookie….OMG…also to die for! 10/10 for food, atmosphere and prices! We will definitely be back! Thanks for an amazing dinner and experience in general!

Pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian pizza that had abundant toppings (unlike most pizza places) and thin crust. Bruschetta was delicious as well. Well priced for the portions.

A great culinary experience from start to finish. I highly recommend anything with their vodka sauce. I had the seafood Vesuvio with vodka sauce and it was amazing—creamy and flavorful. I’m glad I gave this spot a try. I was not disappointed and you won’t be, either.

5 stars all around! We visited this place for the first time and will DEFINITELY be back. Our server was great, the food was great, then on the way out the owners personally thanked us (genuinely) and ended up giving us there last two holiday cookies (cookie is an understatement–this thing was huge and AMAZING). Thanks for the great experience and we loved all the Santa’s around the restaurant!
