We’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, and it didn’t disappoint!
Loved the relaxed, low-key vibe and the friendly staff. The greenery and plants added a lovely touch. We got a table straight away, and although our order came out wrong initially, it was quickly corrected.
The avo toast was fresh and tasty, and the waffles with fruit and dulce de leche hit the spot.
Overall, a great experience – recommend, and we’ll definitely be back!

Went there with an intense waffle craving that had to be solved by dinner time. Literally just sat there and ordered a desert waffle. It was soooo good. They well deserve the name Lou’s comfort food. With the berry jam and the ice cream… Also the vibe here is so cool and the staff was so nice. Loved it to bits, will come back for sure.

I write this in English, so the Tourists that visit Zurich come and visit this super restaurant. We live in the centre of Switzerland and were in Zurich and visited this nice restaurant that offers comfort food at its best. What can I say, we felt welcomed from the first entrance until we got seated and enjoyed our lovely dinner. The Staff is super friendly and gives always attention to your needs and questions. And I can say living in Switzerland since I was born, you can’t find always a good swiss service or even in Zurich its rare to find such a professional, kind and high service level. The food was in a very good quality, perfect amount of spices and delicious we wanted even more and it wasn’t soaked in oil (sometimes in america this dishes are dripped in oil) You can see they put passion in every dish. Good amount of portion and very nice cocktails and mocktails. This is a hidden gem and they should get more and more visibility. Please keep it like this with this staff including the cook. They deserve! We will definetely come again!

This place is a true gem ! Stumbled upon it on TikTok and decided to test it out for a well-deserved Sunday brunch. A lot of options and the menu is à la carte. I decided to go with the fried chicken & waffles and they were out of this world ! Amazing tender fried chicken balanced with a sweet and slightly crunchy waffle, topped with hot honey. I’d also recommend the cinnamon roll for dessert and the lemonade.

Made a reservation for a bday. Just a small family event. I let them know ahead of time and they immediately contacted me about celebrating and asking if we wanted anything special. We arrive half and hour early and it was no problem. We had a great seat and the service was very attentive – not something we always get in Switzerland so it was a welcome positive! Food was served quickly but with enough time between starters and mains. Food was tasty, lots of flavour and exactly what we were looking for. Generous portions – enough to even take away leftovers and enjoy for lunch the next day. The bday brownie was lovely as was the vanilla ice cream. Oh yeah cocktails were fabulous as well!

The dish that didn’t quite hit it was the Philly cheese – expected more of a chopped texture and I think there was slightly too much char on it (more like the smash burger). The special LA style fries had a little too much sauce for my liking – maybe better on a flatter serving tray?

Cosy restaurant great for date or catching up with friends. Food is what it says on the packet- comfort food! We had smash burger and the ribs, with Mac n Cheese- delicious! Great cocktails too. Staff very friendly and helpful, they gave my wife a little birthday cake in the form of a brownie without being asked, very kind and thoughtful.

I was very glad to have finally been able to try this spot – it has been on my list for quite a while. Firstly, the service was great. We were at the table for quite a while a both servers were incredibly friendly and service oriented. I love comfort food generally so the mac and cheese side option is already a big plus to start with. I tried the classic pastrami sandwich as the restaurant goes through a really time intensive process to prepare the meat which makes this dish almost impossible to make at home. The meat was super tender and flavorful. The bread was a bit too dry for my liking but I will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes.
