If you enjoy build-your-own meals and bold flavors, Mongolian Grill in Woodinville is a solid pick.

The concept is simple and fun: you choose your proteins, vegetables, noodles, and sauces, hand the bowl to the chef, and they cook it fresh on a large open grill right in front of you. Everything is hot, fast, and customizable, which makes it great for picky eaters or people with different spice preferences.

What I liked:
• Fresh ingredients with lots of veggie and protein options
• You control the spice and flavor level
• Food is cooked fresh, not sitting around
• Casual, relaxed vibe — good for groups and families

What could be better:
• It can get busy during peak hours
• Sauce combinations can be overwhelming for first-timers
• Seating feels a bit tight when crowded

Overall, it’s a good-value, filling meal if you like interactive dining and don’t mind a slightly busy atmosphere. Not fancy — but satisfying and fun.

10 stars if I could! Love this place for the massive portions of the most tasty food. I have been coming to this location since I was a kid and its been the same consistent delicious food for the past 15 years. Very much self service other than telling them what meat you want before they cook your food, paying the cashier, and then they add sauce to your food at the end.

Dish up your own food, get your own table. I think they clean up after you but I like to bring my dishes to the dish bowl near the sodas.

I had my birthday celebration here and it was great! Lots of room for a big group, I just had to pull a few tables together and we were all set. The busser came out and helped clean up once we finished and he was thankful we cleaned up after ourselves and put tables back where they were. Nice staff and great food.

Love this place and always craving it. 10/10 stars

I was really hungry and this was perfect! Fresh food cooked while you wait and you can watch it being cooked if you like. You simply pick up a bowl, put in your choice of ingredients (till it can’t hold any more), chose your meat, pay, choose your sauce/s (you can taste them first), get your napkins and flatware, and after a short wait your food is ready. Atmosphere was fine but nothing special. I just happened to sit where there was a lot of activity, which was my fault. My delicious meal was $17 and it took me some time to eat, so it was well worth it and very tasty!

I love the Mongolian grill. The price is great. The food is amazing. This is the only Mongolian place I have been that gives you options to put sauce on after the food is cooked. I personally suggest the Mongolian sauce.

You can’t go wrong with 15 bucks for dinner. This is no nonsense, low interaction fresh food. If you go with expectations of somebody kissing your ass you’re gonna be out of luck. They’re all very kind but hard-working people.
Walk in – put gloves on your hands – grab a bowl and start loading it up. Vegetables, noodles, sauces if you like. If you don’t like your dinner it’s your own fault. Walk up to the counter pick a protein – I always like chicken and they take your bowl at the protein and cook it on a large surface. Wait your turn in line -out of the way- to pay. When it’s ready, the last year if you want brown rice or white rice and if you want any additional sauces. I have a very mild pallet so I don’t usually take the extra sauces – and I’m not a fan of their teriyaki sauce anyway. We always take it home and there’s plenty to eat- if you filled your bowl efficiently.
This is way healthier than anything around.

Very limited cooking sauce selection compared to other Mongolian BBQs like Hu Hot. The after cook sauces are bland as well with the Kung Pao peanut sauce tasting like baby food peanut paste. There’s no clear instructions for first-time visitors either, so you just grab a bowl and hope you’re doing things right. Imagine if a mediocre hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant decided to do a Mongolian BBQ and you’ll have the right idea.

We go to this location usually twice a month and always have a great experience. The food is delicious and the service is QUICK, and they’re always ultra friendly, no matter how busy they are.

I did see some other reviews mention getting an extra charge for piling their bowls too high – and as a person that PILES broccoli in their bowl, I’m forced to wonder – HOWWWW high did you pile it?! They have NEVER given us an additional charge for this!

We have been coming to this place since 2019, and they always provide excellent service. Even during the pandemic they did an excellent job building your plate per your instructions. The price is great for the amount of food you can get, they do have a heaping bowl charge which is $3 per heaping bowl. We also really enjoy getting double or triple meats, they are very open to customization but will charge you extra if you want more, which is understandable. Overall this place is just the best Mongolian grill around. We’ve introduced multiple friends to this place, only for them to become addicted to this place too!

This is impressive to watch them clean and clean and clean after every customer. Very impressive .

This is my first time here and I am so so so happy. My friend suggested this.

I got a nice big portion of vegetable and lamb and pork

There were many sauces to choose from and I got a curry and a peanut sauce and a teriyaki and so I just kept changing the flavor as I worked my way through the meal.

Excellent fast, fast service and the food was exceptional and

of course cooking was done perfectly.

I live up near Rockport by Mount Baker on the Canadian border so this was quite a trip but very worthwhile of my time to come down to Woodinville for such good food

You can get what you want and not what you don’t want and you get it for a good price

Way too expensive for a Mongolian grill and it’s not even all you can eat or 2 bowl. They put your meat choice with the veggies you choose so you don’t have say over the portion, you’re limited to 1 or 2 spoons of sauce. Put too much in your bowl? $3 more. Lamb? More $. Extra meat? Just hand them your wallet.

Only soy sauce on the tables. No plum, hoisin, or chili sauce because those are all behind the counter and you can only choose 1 kind. Just over bearing and not worth it. $20 for 1 person. Using slightly higher food costs to price gouge isn’t awesome.

They didn’t have tongs for each ingredient so if you happen to have an allergy don’t even bother because the tongs are used for anything and everything at the bar.

Never seen a Mongolian grill serve rice with every order. Would have rather had more veggies. Or offer the noodles in place of rice so more veggies fit in the one bowl you get for $14.

The food was mediocre with limited choices. No music or anything so get to know the people sitting next to you because you’ll hear their entire conversation. Won’t be back.
