My husband’s coworkers told us to eat here and I’m so glad they did! I had the 1809 and it was definitely one of the best burgers I’ve ever had!! My husband enjoyed the Dueling Banjos burger and the Parmesan truffle tots. They did not skimp on the cheese!! The restaurant is decorated so fun too!

Starting off, the place was cutely decorated and the vibes were chill – would recommend it as a date place for something quick n delicious to eat bc those burgers were sooooo good. I got the jalapeño one (maybe called fireside?) n it was paired perfectly with the garlic mayo sauce (though I also recommend their honey mustard one). My friend got their raspberry jam one n the sweet/salty ratio was amazing. The fries were also good, would recommend the normal or truffle ones. Would 10/10 go back here to try other burger flavors.
The only thing I wished I could adjust from my experience would to have more lettuce on my burger.
Update from 4/29/25: place was still amazingly good as I wentthe first time. One thing I will add is I’d recommend just the regular fries now that I’ve had the truffle ones. They are good but only for the first few bites before it gets really salty. Regardless, the burgers r so good.

Overall rating is only 3 because they make it so difficult to order. They have an online ordering service through “Toast”, but it hasn’t worked 2/3rds of the time I’ve tried it. The restaurant won’t take orders by phone, even if you’re lucky enough to have them answer the phone.
It’s really discouraging to me to have great food available in my own neighborhood but not be able to access it. I’m glad for them that they’re so successful as a small business, but I guess my patronage doesn’t matter.

Burgers where great and the fries are outstanding. Atmosphere was great super cold in the restaurant. Little pricey but so is everything right now.

First time in and Honest Abe’s and really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and helpful in selecting our burgers, and the service when our food was ready was quick. They have a a selection of unique burgers which I’m looking forward to going back trying more. The fries were amazing, just the right amount of seasoning and crispness.

I love eating here!! Got the headless horseman with a vegan patty , truffle fries , and a root beer float. The vegan patty was phenomenal. It paired deliciously with the pumpkin ketchup, fried onions and cinnamon cream cheese. I was happy that the root beer float was made with craft root beer!
The food was fresh and the cashier brought it out right as it was done, I loved how fresh & hot the fries were!!
The cashier was very friendly and I appreciated her input when I was ordering and had questions. The staff all did awesome and overall the experience was great. Will definitely be coming back and hope to have more great experiences!!

Very clean place, the staff work together as a team with a smile on their face the way it should be, it’s my 1st time here and you’ve earned a new customer, burger was cooked to perfection the way I asked for it. Cashier was awesome.(Tall Girl) very welcoming.

We always go to Honest Abes for a good burger. 5:30 on Sunday night and we’re informed they are out of bacon. 50% of all their burgers have bacon. How do you not have a key ingredient on hand? Not only that but they charged full price for the burgers!!!!!. If you order a double there is an additional charge for extra meat, which I understand. They don’t plan for customer demand but charge you as though they have the same cost in the meal. Really poor, won’t be going back!!!

The food is always a step up. Today’s late dinner was amazing. I had The Great American Cookout burger and my wife had the 1809. We sat out on the patio to enjoy the beautiful evening. It’s definitely worth a try!

Great service, very friendly and clean atmosphere. All items were tasty. The sweet honey curry sauce was very nice paring with the fries.
