Went on a Friday at 5:15 and was worried it would be packed with “snowbirds” and locals grabbing an early dinner. The lounge did have a great crowd but the dining area only had guests at two tables so walked right in. They got rid of the booths and have nice tables throughout. Server was very polite.
Food…bread and Caesar salad were a nice start! I tried the shrimp parm. I was very happy with the serving size and meal itself. My wife decided to try the gnocchi dish. She should have tried something else. The dish was very “mushy” as the gnocchi was super soft and with the cheese baked on top it all became one big serving of mashed gnocchi. Won’t be getting the gnocchi again. Highly recommend the shrimp parm though!
The food was just amazing, fresh and delicious made fresh to order. The wine samples were generous I was confused if that was the actual serving or a sample.
The service was fast and efficient. There was plenty of parking and place was easy to get to.
Now at the owner came to say hi. Since I was the last customer of the day he had time to share details and even gave me a tour of the restaurant.
I would highly recommend this place . It is easy to get to and has plenty of parking. The best I’ve been to in this side of Florida.
I don’t normally leave reviews, but my experience at Valenti’s Ristorante was so shockingly bad that I feel obligated to warn others.
The disappointment started before I even walked in. The exterior looked rundown — the kind of place you’d normally drive past without a second thought — but I tried to give it a chance. I wish I hadn’t.
The moment I stepped inside, something felt off. The place had a strange smell — not of good food simmering in the kitchen, but something stale and unpleasant that I still can’t identify. That should’ve been my cue to leave.
I ordered a glass of wine, which was the only thing that wasn’t a complete disaster. Then came the $50 chicken parmesan, and that’s where everything fell apart. The sauce had a bizarre, almost sour flavor, nothing like real Italian red sauce. The chicken was nearly impossible to eat — every bite had rubbery, chewy, gristle-like pieces, the kind you would normally trim off because they’re not edible. I tried four bites just to be sure, and all four were awful.
I’ve had better chicken parm from a gas station take-out counter. I couldn’t finish it. Honestly, I couldn’t even pretend to like it.
In short: Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this place. The food is bad, the atmosphere is worse, and the price makes it feel like a joke at the customer’s expense. If this is what they consider “Italian,” then Chef Boyardee deserves a Michelin star.
Highly Recommend!
Fast, Affordable, & Good Service.
I loved the ambiance of the restaurant, wholesome small talk with the owner, and clean restrooms.
