A great little cafe to grab breakfast, lunch or sip coffee and tea with friends. Serving an eclectic menu one would expect from closer to the city, the cafe delivers a great experience without the long drive. The building was once a key stop on the underground railroad owned by Rev. John Mahan, a man of conviction who was martyred helping slaves escape the south.

This place is literally perfect, it’s a cute little cafe and everything was amazing. The food and coffee was delicious, affordable, and came out fast! The service is wonderful too! Our waiter, Betsy, was an absolute sweetheart and made our stay even better! I recommend coming here and if you do, the pumpkin cheesecake cookie is TO DIE FOR

This cafe is absolutely adorable. A lil unique place to relax and enjoy an ice coffee. Mine was so delicious. They also serve food, which I’ll be trying in my future visits. My granddaughter enjoyed one of their delicious cookies. If you get a chance to stop, I highly recommend.

Food was delicious! Portions are plentiful, the Loaded Baked Potato and Greek Salad are big enough to share. Chicken Bacon Ranch Wrap = Turkey Panini Salad and Potato

Absolutely loved our visit to The Underground Cafe! The Turkey Panini was delicious, warm, flavorful, and perfectly toasted. LOVED the sauce with the avocado. We couldn’t resist the classic cheese ball either, so good! The coffee hit the spot, and the decor is seriously the cutest. Cozy, inviting, and full of charm. We loved it so much we grabbed a punch card…because we’re definitely coming back!

Very friendly and helpful!! We were visiting the area from out of state and got locked out of our place. They were very caring, went way out of the way to try to help us… calling around to get us help and answers.
We were mostly there to pass the time while waiting to get our rental unlocked. But we felt very welcome and enjoyed the food and atmosphere. We got the 3 cheeseball scoops; oreo was the favorite, followed by bacon ranch.
