“What Do You Expect from McDonald’s? Nothing… and I Mean It.”
It’s true — McDonald’s, especially this particular one, fully represents what McDonald’s has become: a real estate company first, a food business second.
They could hire the worst manager imaginable, not because of talent or passion for customer service, but because that person has “been around for years.” Longevity does not equal leadership. And the result? A chain reaction where employees follow that same poor example — miserable people serving food with zero motivation or pride.
McDonald’s has sadly become my fifth choice — the place I go only when it’s late, nothing but pizza is open, and I’m too tired to cook. Food and service quality are both miles below average. And no, I don’t believe it’s because of low pay. Just look at Chick-fil-A — similar pay, yet worlds apart in attitude and care.
Maybe it’s my fault for being lazy and going back, but it’s never out of desire — only out of hunger and lack of choice.
To any McDonald’s franchise owner reading this: Be the difference.
Pay well, hire smart, train your people, and protect your brand. “Hire fast and fire fast” — keep the right people who care and remove those who don’t. Your brand deserves better.

I NEVER leave reviews, but the level of unprofessionalism I experienced at this location requires immediate attention from upper management.
My order was incorrect, and when I went inside to resolve it, the manager’s behavior (red hair lady) was extremely rude and unnecessarily aggressive. I calmly stated that it was fine to correct the order and charge me for the difference, but instead of helping, she escalated the situation.What was most disturbing was how she began yelling at the employee at the window who was trying to explain the situation professionally while I was standing right there. It was early in the morning, I was running late, and I simply needed my order corrected. There was absolutely no reason for the hostility I witnessed.

The Food is good! It’s just the service is a bit mediocre tho. I’ve never experienced good service here. Every time I’m there some of the Hispanic workers seem a little grumpy, I’ve had to wait up to 15 minutes for my order to be taken multiple times and there have been a couple incidents where they didn’t understand and treated me as if I was trying to get over on them or be a thief! I continue to go because it’s the only one in the area but they could use more employees that are nice and mean what they do when it comes to serving!!

Morning shift staff are rude and unhelpful. Zero customer care or service. i get that it’s just McDonald’s I don’t expect a really high level of care but when your customer is treated like an inconvenience you may want to reevaluate your attitude

I have been going to this McDonalds all my life. The people here are great. Good service. Sometimes they do get my order wrong though even though I specifically tell them what I want. But 98% of the time my order isn’t messed up. Good on you! The food is 10/10 in my opinion. Good fries, good burgers, good deserts. Drinks here are good too. The atmosphere is overall okay. There are times where tables are lightly brushed over and there is still dirt and grime on the tables once you sit. The bathrooms could also use some extra work and the floors are overall not bad, but sometimes need to be swept for sure. Other than that this McDonalds is a good one.

If I could give zero stars I would. I came in at 1:10pm on 11/14/21. Place my order at the self order station. My receipt said 1:13pm I spent $24.00 two fries, two drinks, order of nuggets and two sandwiches. Bt the time I got my order it was 1:35pm. So 21 minutes to get my order. When the girl gave me my order it was jammed into one bag. I told her just one bag for all that food she tossed another bag on the counter. I had to ask for the cups for my drinks at that time. I then asked for the manager to complain. The manager came over I tried to explain about how the order was bagged she had attitude I then said there was not reason to bag that much food in a smaller bag. She said they were busy. I explained for years I had worked at McDonald’s in Myrtle Beach and normally I could run a store with five to six employee which is less then she had she told me they were shirt of help and if I wanted to I could come back and work there. Very poor management customer service skills. I took the food home to my family so we could eat lunch. The double quarter cheeseburger deluxe had no lettuce or tomatoes on it or the extra cheese. Had to back to the restaurant by the time I got the food the time was 2:03pm. They never apologized or offered to replace my fries all they did was remake the sandwich. So by the time I was able to eat my fries were ice cold, the other sandwich was cold, the nuggets ice cold. So that being said the Management at this store needs to be retrained or something cause they did not seem to running their shift but letting the shift rum them. The customer service was horrible. When I was running restaurant I would have at least offered to remake the sandwich given new fries so my customer could have hot food. Then offered a pie or ice cream as a way to make it up to the customer. I have called the local office number and asked for them to call me back I would be surprised if I hear a thing from them.

Took my 5 year daughter to this McDonald’s this morning for breakfast as she wanted oatmeal and begged me to take her to McDonald’s because we’ve never taken her there before. She has been taking Spanish lessons during the summer and was really excited to show me the toys that are giving to kids with the happy meals and told me in broken Spanish to look at the toys. Then the young man who was at the front register started making fun of my daughter mocking what she was saying multiple times. At this, I locked eyes with him giving him “the look” that it was not okay. He understood but instead of apologizing and being responsible for his actions he tapped the manager in front who was too busy talking to someone else about who knows what and went to the back to hide. I am appalled at the customer service of this place. And come on…making fun of a 5 year old is so childish. We ended up not ordering anything and with my daughter in tears once we got back in the car. I Will never come back.

I visited the McDonalds in Rolesville on Main Street and I was very impressed with how clean it was and the speed and quality of food that was made. I highly recommend this location.
