I only gave 1 star cause I had too , this place is highway robbery, it’s disgusting and disgraceful! I paid almost 60 dollars for something that looks like it should cost 20 . They are overpriced for the amount of food, ppl do t go there they will Rob you too! And pics always looks bigger but this place is robbing ppl ! I will never buy from them ever again and plus the food was really not all that! They need to do better!

I was excited when my girlfriend told me she picked up some pernil and rice for dinner. When I got home to eat I was appalled at the tiny amount of meat that was on the plate.. both of our plates were extremely skimped. The 3 bites of pernil I got tasted good but I will not be returning

I have to say the staff is very friendly, and the food is good. However there were two major negatives. First the girl who took my order brought the food and never looked my way once since she was busy on her phone. I needed extra napkins, but I just had to settle for the one I was given. I ordered sancocho and it was delicious but the portion was so small I had to say something, and another woman took the plate and said she would fix it. All she added was a piece of carrot and a tiny piece of yautia with a tinier piece of corn. Have to say I ate like a five year old. Been to endless restaurants which don’t disappoint on the portions. Also if you pay with a credit card there is a six percent surcharge which you only discover after paying. All in all I don’t mind paying today’s inflated prices, but don’t shrink my food order!!! Will I be returning ????

Love this place.
Always get the pernil, rice and beans, and maybe an empanada if we’re feeling hungry.
Great serving size for the price and they make sure the to-go orders are hot enough for the ride home.
Highly recommend, probably my favorite restaurant in Stroudsburg.

I visited before like 1 year ago because my co-worker recommended! And I came back again with my boy friend on Sept! We ordered the drink and they first says they have, and they gave us the wrong one and says they don’t have it, we requested for another one but the waitress don’t what to give it to us! Poor communication.
When I paid my bill, I usually gave a good amount of tips, but then I was not told there is extra credit card charge and service fee 6% or 8%. I was not told at the beginning and also during my payment, I think they should tell before I pay the tips. I think I would never go with the poor communication and service. There are so many choices in the place!

Good place to go when I’m at the Poconos with my family. The place is clean and the staff is nice. The food is delicious and fresh made. They also make fresh fish for me if I call in advance even if it’s not in the menu of the day.

But, to my dismay… the meat portion was ridiculous… TINY. I ordered the recommended oxtail stew. Hadn’t had it in months. Flavor-wiseI literally receive.d 4 oxtail, a pound of rice and 10 beans in sauce. also disappointing. The meat was very tough and no real flavor. Was glad to have the “bean sauce.” Very much needed. For $20…$14.95 and a tip… so upsetting. My first and very last visit.

Great food tasty, this food is cooked daily so is fresh. The portions for a Spanish place, I think is to small. If your Latino we love Big portions

Small family establishment, Food was very good, authentic home style Dominican taste. Food portions could have been a bit larger, with more options for sides however. I gave it a 4 star because there is always room for improvement, but for the most part, I think most people will find this place appealing.
