Sawdust burger was one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Tender and full of flavor. Thick too. The bacon was crispy and made a nice addition. The fries were thick and crispy as well. Chocolate ice cream was okay. The gentleman was friendly and even gave our pup a free ice cream cup, with mini bones.

What an incredible little “hometown feel” restaurant. Fred and Anna were so welcoming and kind. We had the breakfast wrap and the Jr. breakfast and they were perfect. Fred even walked over to our table to confirm some details of our modifications. These 2 are so amazing and accommodating, and made us feel right at home!

Hubby and I stopped in on our way home from PA to Ohio. Absolutely amazing experience from the woman at the counter who took our order to the chef who delivered our food. The portions were amazing. The food was great. We wish we had this at our hometown. Thanks! See you again sometime!

Decided I needed a hamburger and I cannot tell you how glad I am I stopped here
Had a 1/2 lb burger….lightly seasoned and juicey…..beer battered onion rings
All of the food that came out looked just as good as what I had….the owner was sweet as she could be and made menu suggestions that were helpful

Really a cute place! The husband wife duo that was running things were very nice people. So on top of the very good food and service, there were wonderful people behind the counter. You don’t find that very often these days!

So much was bad I’m not sure where to start.
We have never had to ask for our money back at any restaurant in my 40 years of being on this earth but we did this time.
First several were tables dirty. Then they come out and just throw your silverware in a pile on the table. Which we found some uncleaned with food still on them. We said something to the young kid. He had an attitude. Then he cleaned tables when done he walked straight back and handled our food without washing his hands.
We say something he calls us liars and goes in the back complaining to the other lady there. You could hear him yelling. We get the food. It was horrible looking. The biscuits and gravy were something you see served in prison.
The only thing good we could say about this establishment is they gave us our money back after loads of attitude.
No management anywhere just to younger people.

Ordered lunch to go and everything was great! They said it would take about 10 minutes for the food and that was accurate. The woman who took my order also had some good recommendations.

The elderly woman who worked behind the counter (maybe the owner?) never greeted us, & we heard her mutter under her breath to the VERY NICE man who also worked at the counter (maybe her son?) that our service dog “was NOT a service dog”. Meanwhile, he had his harness with his badges on & was so well behaved and never made a peep. She stood behind the counter and just glared at him. This was our first eating at this place. If it wasn’t so hot & humid, I would have taken my food outside to eat.

My husband and I ate here both times we went to cooks forest during our honeymoon and absolutely loved it! The food was very delicious (especially the burgers!). We played a song on the jukebox and it was a little loud but we just laughed about it. Would definitely eat here again!
