Read the reviews and figured I would check it out. Went with party of four and we were the only people there besides the people that worked there and one other person (Friday 6 pm). The food we stuck with was the appetizers and nachos and shrimp / chicken fries tasted below our low expectation of bar food. Food tasted frozen and reheated and would not recommend and won’t return. Ranch warm and strange color with cold fries not a good mix. I can’t imagine this place with staying open long

I stopped in here with my family to listen to the live music that was playing. It is a neat place, but the decor doesn’t quite live up to the name. It has a downtown Pub desire with a name that makes you think you’ll be going to a speakeasy. Which gives a bit of a jarring feeling to the atmosphere. The decor might not give off a “high society” feel, but the food and drink prices do.
That doesn’t mean their food is bad. In fact, my Alligator Po’Boy was quite good. I just felt that it was missing that extra something to make it feel High Society. Just looking at the prices for alcoholic beverages made me glad I ordered sweet tea. The portions were generous, but that hardly justifies a higher price. This is not to say it is overly overpriced, just that the price does not quite match what I expect to get.
The building is located on the Square so be prepared to look for parking and/or a short walk to get there.

The High Society is so fun! The service is great! The food is delicious! And we loved the atmosphere! We highly recommend High Society and can hardly wait to return! P.S. The Cooter River Band played and they are absolutely incredible. Such a fun evening.

I absolutely love the food, the vibes, the whole place! I came in two times in two days! The prices are absolutely low for how much food you get. The food was absolutely delicious and I even had a whole other meal out of it later. I got the loaded shrimp fries both times, gator po boy and the steamed seafood boil. You can choose what sauce and seasoning you want on the seafood and it is so cheap for how much you get. I also got a mixed drink from the bar and it was perfect! I also want to say the owners are so nice and asked us how we liked everything and if we needed anything. I want to shoutout the karaoke singing that happens later at night it was phenomenal! And the service is top tier! Every waitress was friendly, every staff member was there and doing amazing. This will truly be my new spot to go to for vibes and food.

I don’t think this place has been open long because it wasn’t really busy, but prepare yourself, once word gets out about this place it is going to be packed!! The crawfish had so much flavor and I feasted on them to my hearts content, the shrimp po boy almost put me in a food coma, it was too good to put down!!

We came in just browsing the square and found this place, the owner came up and check on us without hesitation. Food was great and vibe was good for midday. Let’s not even talk about the cheap prices! Unmatched!! Based on picture below we demolished lunch.

If I could give this place a minus 10 stars I would. HORRIBLE service. We had to find someone to take our order. The place was loud and the name of the “restaurant” don’t match the “restaurant” itself. It took 20 minutes to get drinks…. After about 90 minutes our simple order never came so we paid for our drinks and left. The menu is under whelming and again… service terrible

WARNING. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Service was horrible! Went for my wife’s Birthday and from the start the experience was bad. Took almost 30 minutes to get a drink order. Two hours later never got food for all seven people with us. Asked for the manager and she was nothing but full of excuses. When I asked for the owners name and contact information, she said that she was the owner. This place will be another out of business restaurant if this is the level of service. Below is the owner???!!! Needs to find a new career.
