I had such an amazing experience here that I’m already planning my next visit. My server recommended the duck curry, and I’m so glad I trusted his opinion because it was absolutely amazinnng—rich, aromatic, and full of depth.
I paired my meal with one of THE OG Thai drink, which was refreshing and the perfect complement to the spices. And of course, I couldn’t leave without the mango sticky rice, which was fresh, sweet, and the perfect ending to an already incredible meal.
The location is also a bonus. After finishing my dinner, the area was perfect for taking a little walk—safe, scenic, and relaxing after such a satisfying meal.
If you want authentic flavors, great recommendations, and a beautiful atmosphere inside and outside the restaurant, this is the spot.

I had a delicious dinner with friends. They accommodated a 7 people reservation with less than an hour notice on a busy Friday night.

I strongly recommend the Duck Panang Curry. It was creamy, a tiny bit spicy with a rich coconut backdrop. Will absolutely be coming back!

We enjoyed our dinner here. The food arrived fast. The service was very good. The atmosphere was family friendly. We visit many Thai restaurants across the US and this one pulls us back every time we are in Decatur.

One of my favorite places to frequent in Decatur – the atmosphere is lively and inviting, and the decor is cute. Also, I always enjoy how perfectly spaced apart the tables and seats are – the interior is never too crammed nor sparse. Additionally, since the restaurant is at the heart of Decatur Square, there’s so much to do and see in the area after having a meal here!

Among the vegetarian dishes, the Three Flavors Tofu has been my favorite dish, and the Buddha’s Delight is good as well. The Curry Puffs with duck sauce are also a fantastic appetizer. Unfortunately, I would skip the Cashew Delight – it was a bit bland compared to the other awesome options on the menu. Would totally recommend coming!

Ordered takeout with friends (8 items) and got to taste and try quite a few dishes. I did not really like the food, but I also just came back from Thailand. This probably suits American taste buds.

1) Panang curry was like sugar. It was crazy how sweet this curry was.
2) The meats in all the dishes were incredible dry/overcooked. Yes, it is chicken breast or pork loin, but it did not mean it needed to be overcooked and dry.
3) Pad see ew: Also very sweet, but wrong noodles (The flat rice noodles was Chinese kuayteow, not sen yai. There was broccoli instead of gailan.)
4) Pad Thai: Very one dimensional. No fragrance of little dried shrimp, or tamarind.

We went here for dinner, ordered three different meals. My rating is the reflection of my order.

Pro: vegetables were not overcooked. As simple as it sounds, not many places succeeded at doing this by the time the food reaches the table in my experience. Service was prompt and generally pleasant.

Con: my pineapple curry was so sweet that I could not eat more than a few bites, which translates to food waste. In fact, I asked my husband to try a spoonful. He said it was a “burning sweet” taste. I have had Thai food plenty of time, but never had it been this sweet. I asked the waitress if the sweetness came from the pineapple or sugar. She said it was sugar and that was how they made food. I asked her if it was regional. She confirmed but could not tell me what region.

My companions’ food were also sweet (sweeter than I would typically like) but no where near the sugar water in the bowl of curry soup served to me.

The second con is the rice. The rice was very dry (as you can see how the cooked grains are separate in this photo). I assumed they used Thai jasmine rice. But I know there are many types of Thai rice and they are not all equal. The rice served to me was not fragrant and tasted bland. I grew up growing rice and eating it on a daily basis. This rice is mediocre.

Ordered Thai Basil fried rice. It wasn’t the tastiest Thai food I’ve eaten. However, the vegetables were well cooked and the rice was mild in flavor. May give this restaurant another try someday.

Gave this restaurant a second try within the same week. I explicitly asked for vegetarian massaman Curry with tofu. I was served curry with chicken. I didn’t realize it immediately. However, I did find the tofu funny looking and asked my colleague to taste it. And of course it was chicken. They didn’t look very apologetic that they served the wrong dish. Just a casual “I’ll take the food away” and that’s about it.
Not going there again.

Brought my family here for dinner. We are sorely disappointed. I got Drunken noodles and chicken. Family got Pad noodles and chicken as well. Got the pad Thai wings for the little one. Somehow that came out to 73$ for two plates worth 17$ on the menu and a 12$ plate of wings. Only like six wings on the plate. For how mid the food tasted. It was nowhere near worth 73$! The noodles are entirely too sweet. I don’t know if it was cooked in coconut based sauce but I don’t do sweets very often. I don’t want my primary meal being sweet. Especially when there’s no spices or peppers to offset the overwhelming sweet flavors you get hit with. It made my loves chest hurt and I couldn’t finish. I’m 250 pounds I always finish my food but tonight I could not. The customer service was mid as well. She only came to check on us once. Never came back once the food was brought out. The ambiance was decent but again. We left feeling robbed. It was my first time ever trying Thai food. And if I was overly critical I wouldn’t ever want to try Thai food again. This was not a bad tasting or horrible experience. Not like that. But after paying what we did. You just feel the prices are way too much for the mid level food taste you get. I have eaten better at places that charge 15$ for a plate and only spending 40$ for food for three to eat.
