Chicken was hot and good. I got the special, they cook everything fresh. Anything fried you want they got! Fish, chicken fried steak, okra. But be careful they got lots of boxes of soda sitting at windows. You order at one window and pick up at another.

This was my first time trying this spot. Hubby always raves about it, so I figured why not. I was very pleased with the food along with the serving portions and cost. Their establishment was very clean and the customer service was great. If it’s fried chicken that you’re craving then this is your spot. It was so nice and crispy too. Just how I like it We will definitely be back.

I moved out of state 3 years ago, so it’s been a minute. The chicken was OK, nothing special. The fish was thin, salty, and mostly breading, especially if you get a thinner one like one of mine. The fish texture was mushy. I’d skip that. Mac n cheese was good, coleslaw average. Not as good as I remember. Portions were good

Gizzard are always fried hard, just like I like them.
Sides are always good, except for the mashed potatoes, they taste like instant potatoes.
The building is always clean, the prices are reasonable, and the service is great.

First time at this location and i was really impressed. Had hot wings and catfish fillet. The catfish is really top notch! Their prices are also very reasonable. I’ll be back for their 2 piece fish dinner next time. This location was superior to the Arlington location and will be the one I frequent routinely.
