Toss and Sauce has been one of my local favorites for years, and it is even better now with more options. My favorites have been the seafood boil bags and chicken wings. But last time I went, I tried the fried catfish and it was delicious. I walked to the river from the restaurant, the catfish still had that amazing crunch. Another new favorite is the Bulgogi beef. You really can’t go wrong here.

This place is a hidden GEM!!! Part convience store, part restaurant, part bar, it has everything! I had a steam pot, and the crab was cooked perfectly; it came out of the shell in beautiful pieces! We also ordered the fried clam strips, and they were sooooo crispy! I highly recommend!

This spot is great. No wait time. Normally, I’m pretty worried about eating at seafood restaurants because I don’t really know the quality of the food but this one was great. Compared to other places, it’s very affordable and the seafood is really good. It’s not a typical dine in style, you go in, he gives you the menu, you take a seat, you get your own drinks and alcohol and you can get anything from the convenient side of the store. the owner is great. He’s super sweet and he always make sure that you got everything that you need. The seafood boils are great (we got 2 of the shark bag number 3), the shrimp and the crab legs are good quality. They also offer a wide variety of other foods. Don’t be scared to give it a try, would recommend to anyone looking for a boil. Even over places like tasty crab and boiling crab.

– Ordered butterfly shrimp, popcorn shrimp, and the jumbo shrimp and was a fan of each as well as the sauces.
– The sauce that comes with the fried chicken is also really great and the chicken is very tender.
– The atmosphere is fun and lets you escape with music, sports games, as well as a convenience section to pick up items of need.
In conclusion, I recommend anyone to come here especially if you’re the Richmond, VA area and like seafood or chicken (they also have a section of fried rice, beef, pork, etc..)

Out of all the Seafood restaurants in the Richmond/ downtown area this has to be my new favorite! Saw a review on TikTok about this place so I had to try it. The food is great, the restaurant is always clean, and the Owner is always there to greet me with a smile!! Only my second time ordering but I know for sure I will become a regular!

on 12/9/2025, me and my husband went here a few days ago for some dinner after hearing good reviews from social media. we got the #4 sharks boil bag which was priced at $84.99. food visibly looked correct but had a profound smell and taste as if a bottle of cleaning product was cross contaminated with the food. every time my husband took a bite he was running to the bathroom to throw up. and on top of that we were overcharged $110.47 instead of $84.99 when we tried to call the restaurant several times afterwards when there was still an hour and a half before closing, it rang but there was no answer after 10 tries of calling them. we are extremely disappointed and will not be returning.

The most truly RVA experience you can have. The owner is such a sweet man and recognizes my father and I every time we come in. The crab is fantastic (very spicy! I’m usually a medium/hot fan and can only do the mild here lol). Immaculate vibes and truly a hidden gem. Other people have Disneyland, I have Tipsy Crab.
