Dinner at Brothers Restaurant At the Red Barn was easily one of the most memorable steakhouse experiences I’ve had.

The filet was phenomenal — honestly one of the top three filets I’ve ever eaten. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and full of flavor. The sides were just as impressive, and the Mud Pie for dessert was absolutely ridiculous in the best possible way — rich, indulgent, and unforgettable.

We went on Sunday night, the day after Valentine’s Day, and the place was packed (good thing they take reservations). We’d had an unfortunate experience the night before at a different local restaurant, but despite the crowd, we were seated right away at a great table. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance: relaxed but upscale, with a retro country steakhouse vibe that feels both classic and comfortable.

The staff was outstanding — attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming. We also enjoyed a fantastic local cab from Brave & Maiden that paired beautifully with the steak.

From start to finish, it was a perfect evening. This place absolutely lives up to its reputation.

My wife and I had an early reservation and were seated promptly, which made for a great start to the evening. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer while we looked over the menu for our entrées. Unfortunately, the calamari was a bit underwhelming. It felt like we were fishing for it in a sea of fried onions. After picking through the onions to find the small pieces of calamari, the plate still looked almost untouched because there were so many onions.

Thankfully, the experience really turned around with the main courses. My wife ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked perfectly to her liking with excellent flavor. I had the prime rib special, which was also cooked perfectly and tasted even better than I expected. Paired with au jus and horseradish sauce, it was outstanding, and I finished every bite. The mashed potatoes served with both dishes were creamy and delicious as well.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal and will definitely be back, we’ll just be skipping the calamari next time.

We had an amazing family dinner! All of our meals were phenomenal, but the burgers were the best I’ve ever had! Our cocktails at the bar before dinner, were great as well (margaritas & martinis). Brandon waited on us at our table, and he was so nice and in top of everything…he added to the already wonderful experience!

Reservations are a must and you can get there a bit early to grab a drink at the bar. Super friendly staff and the food was 10/10. You can split entrees for a $10 fee (the portions are huge so not a bad idea). The best part of the meal was the bread options – unreal how good their breads are!

We went on monday February 9th ’26, I had the filet while my wife had prime rib. Both were incredible! Even though neither of us had room for dessert, we ordered some anyhow. I had the home made mud pie while my wife had banana bread pudding. Best ever!

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with a wonderful dinner here. The food, service, and atmosphere were perfect for a romantic date night. The wine list did an excellent job showcasing great local wines. My NY strip was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and the mud pie for dessert was outstanding. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in the area.

The food and service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for all steak lovers. The house special prime rib did not disappoint. The mix drinks and dessert was also excellent.

My deathrow meal is made here. 6oz Prime filet! But I also order in tacos on Thursdays:) .. I suggest you try the trout, pork chop, stuffed chicken, and the lamb. The desserts are superb and seasonal. This place has earned its stars and I hope its around for decades to come.

We came here for dinner based on a recommendation from a local at one of the wineries we visited today. We sat at a high-top table, which had a fun, casual vibe. My husband and I ordered the wedge salad and the ribeye—both were amazing! Possibly the best ribeye we’ve ever had. The cornbread in the bread basket was also outstanding. Service and atmosphere were wonderful!

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Brothers Red Barn with my wife, and it was nothing short of fantastic. The ambience was super cute and intimate, with soft lighting that created a cozy atmosphere.

We started with drinks—my double Pendleton and Coke was impressively strong, likely closer to a triple, while my wife’s double Gentleman and Coke was equally delightful. Both cocktails were perfectly mixed, setting a great tone for the evening.

Now, onto the food, which truly stole the show. My wife ordered the 6-ounce filet mignon, cooked to perfection, beautifully complemented by potatoes au gratin with sautéed onions. I went for the 8-ounce New York steak, paired with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Each bite was better than the last, showcasing expert seasoning and cooking techniques.

One of the best parts? Brothers Red Barn is just about 2 miles away from Chumash Casino, making it the perfect spot for a date night before or after some fun at the casino.

Overall, Brothers Red Barn offers a memorable dining experience with its charming setting, excellent cocktails, and outstanding cuisine. I can’t wait to return!
