They have a decent buffet. If that isn’t your cup of tea, they also have a menu to choose from. They have children’s and seniors in addition to the regular menu. They play music from The seventies era and the atmosphere is relaxed.

The selection was limited, but with the amount they did have the food tasted pretty good. The service was horrible. Maybe it was my age, but the server totally ignored us, with the exception of taking plates a few times. I had to find her and ask for drinks. Dessert was really tasty.

I like to visit Ponderosa for lunch as I am able to get my plate as soon as I sit down. There is an excellent salad bar and a good variety of hot foods. The food is always fresh and got or cold as appropriate.
I rarely order an entree as the buffet is so good. On the occasion that I have ordered an entree, generally a steak, they are cooked to order and tasty.
There is a taco bar and pizza. A dessert bar is available with ice milk and sprinkles.
My family has met here on many occasions for celebrations. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
Sunday morning brunch is good here also for the same reasons. This is definitely not haute cuisine but a good place for fresh wholesome food.

We have been going to Potsdam Ponderosa for years. We really enjoy the cozy atmosphere and super friendly staff. I love the all you can eat buffet. We often order it for lunch. A good place to bring the children as there is such a wide variety of food that you can mix and match. Great place!

Food is always mediocre. Hadn’t been there in a long time, thought it might have improved but NOT! BUFFET PANS (SEVERAL) needed to be refilled had to ask, lots of chicken lots and lots. If you want any kind of other meat other than meat balls or chicken you pretty much need to order of the menu. For the price it’s not what I would come back for again

Our waitress was great. She kept the dirty dishes off our table,she checked to see if we needed refills on our drinks. It was busy and the young girl on the buffet kept it filled and clean. She paid attention to spills and messes people made on salad bar .

This place was never great and was managed by a woman with no buisness sense but WOW did it go down hill in recent years. This is the last time I eat here. Close to $40 for my family and the buffet was terrible. No chicken because they didn’t make enough. Everything else tasted terrible. We all had stomach problems when we got home. Salad bar was a mess and was dirty. Overall, this place fits the filthy area perfectly.

A very off night there compared to normal. Ham tasted funky and since I’ve had food poison from there before I didn’t eat more than a bite of it. Nothing was really on broccoli salad was frozen as was the cheesecake. Was very disappointed since today is my birthday and we traveled from Malone.
