My experience at this Caribou Coffee location was deeply unsettling and raised serious concerns about safety, privacy, and the way vulnerable people are treated. Instead of a warm, neutral coffee shop, the environment felt invasive and uncomfortable, as though customers were being watched, discussed, or singled out inappropriately.
Certain interactions and patterns of behavior gave the impression that private or sensitive information was being referenced or circulated among staff or others in the space. That is a major breach of trust in any business and especially troubling in a place where people often sit alone, use their phones, or bring their children.
The overall atmosphere felt predatory rather than welcoming — with boundary-crossing, inappropriate attention, and a culture that did not appear focused on protecting customer dignity or safety. A public café should never feel like a place where people, especially vulnerable individuals, are at risk of being exploited, judged, or targeted.
I left feeling uncomfortable and concerned not just for myself, but for others who may not realize how much of their privacy or personal space is being compromised. I would strongly urge anyone who values safety, respect, and ethical conduct to be cautious about visiting this location.

I Ordered & they delivered the best Blended Peach Black Tea w/ an energy shot drink Yummy!
Didn’t get any food, but the drink was great. Ordered a hot apple blast, which I would recommend if ya need a sweet little warm up!

I come here to work while my daughter is at an art summer camp. The place is always pleasantly busy but I can find a place near a plug. The baristas are friendly and I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered. Thank you to the staff for being a happy part of my day. 🙂

I stopped by on a very hot day and noticed a man outside who asked me to buy him a drink. I agreed, but while waiting for his order he started making me uncomfortable—asking personal questions, wanting to use my phone, and asking me to leave with him. The barista and another employee quickly noticed and stepped in, offering me a free drink and making small talk to keep me comfortable.
After the man left the shop, he lingered in the parking lot, still being flirty and trying to leave with me. I got into my car, and I saw the employees watching from the window to make sure I was safe. The barista was even on the phone, likely with authorities.
On top of serving great coffee in a clean store, the staff here are genuinely caring people who look out for their customers. I can’t thank them enough! ❤️

I asked the girl at the counter about the two kinds of black coffee they had as I didn’t want a fufu drink and she had no clue anything about the coffee. That seems to be a problem since, it’s a coffee place.

I love Caribou and this is a great location, but something needs to be said about the new cup lids (lids launched early 2020 I believe). They are absolutely horrible, do not fit any of the cup sizes whatsoever and manage to spill every single time (literally every single time). Causes a huge mess in my car and on my desk at work. I’ve burned myself with hot coffee multiple times because of this. The leaking isn’t something that can be stopped with the lid stopper, it leaks from the side at all times and no matter what cup size I get.
5 stars to Anoka employees and the amazing coffee itself, but with this lid issue, it might be time to say goodbye for now to Caribou.
