I dined in today. Staff was amazing! The food was amazing! Sharon was so sweet and helpful helping me navigate ordering for the first time. The restaurant was well kept. I’m definitely coming back! I will recommend Slim Chickens to others!

I used to really love the food here. I’m not from South Carolina and hadn’t even heard of Slim Chickens until I got here in 2022 on active duty orders, but it quickly became one of my favorite spots. Lately though, my last three visits haven’t been the best. On two different occasions the chicken wasn’t fried enough, and on my most recent visit the tenders barely had any breading. I ended up not even finishing my food, which sucked.
Maybe it’s just the Garners Ferry location…I’ll probably try another one to see if it’s just me . The toast and fries were still good, so I’m hoping it was just a bad day because this used to be one of my favorite places to eat.

First time here and it was a great experience! The woman who served us was just such a delight. She was a middle aged black woman wearing a mask and the joy she had was infectious! Wish I got her name because she deserves a raise without a doubt!
Ordered the tenders plate, buffalo Mac and cheese bowl, fried pickles, the Oreo red velvet jar dessert.
Absolutely everything was fantastic and great for the price.
The atmosphere was welcoming and warm and clean!
Hope to see more locations open up in the Columbia area 🙂

Stopped in for late lunch at the Garners Ferry store. No waiting to be served. Cashier was friendly and polite. I was a bit taken aback by the price of $9.09 + tax for the 3 chicken strips/Chicks Meal, but assumed the strips would probably be large or above average size. Sadly, I was mistaken about that assumption. They were about as big as my 1st finger. * They were however very fresh, hot, juicy and the batter was nicely fried without being greasy. I did not get a stomach ache from eating their food and that’s a plus for a fried entree! The honey mustard sauce was pretty good. I wonder what company makes it. Overall it was a nice, clean atmosphere, and the food was good albeit not a very filling portion for the cost. It’s definitely chilly in there. Bring in a jacket for sure. *Maybe, I just caught a few smaller than normal servings on this trip, so I may give it another try in the future. The value per dollar is not great, but that seems to be the norm in many places these days.

Our food was fresh and hot. I ordered tossed chicken tenders and there was plenty of sauce on them. The fries were well-seasoned and crispy. And the young man at the register who took our order was very nice! Every employee we spoke with was friendly and professional.

First time here and it was a great experience. Fried pickles made to order. Chicken tenders and fries were hot hot, even mid afternoon. The slim sauce (think zaxbys or raising canes but sweeter) and ranch were both good. I also liked the flavored teas, I got raspberry tea. Excited to return and try their milk shakes, wings, and sauces.

First time trying Slim Chickens. Pretty good overall. The fries were the star, very fresh, perfectly cooked and salted. I had a cayenne chicken sandwich which was pretty good. The chicken was a bit thin and dry. The staff was decent.

We had never been to a Slim Chickens before, but we dined in. A nice person took our order, and we sat down with our number and drink cup. I got sweet tea, and they had some flavors that I liked, such as peach and raspberry. We waited a little bit for our food, but it was busy in the restaurant and in the drive-through. I ordered the Slim’s Meal that came with fries and a sauce. I also got a large side of Mac and Cheese to share. The food was delicious. Piping hot and fresh. The mac and cheese is one of the best fast food mac and cheese I’ve had. I would definitely come here again!

When I say Good food, it definitely didn’t disappoint! This wasn’t my first time trying Slim Chickens. But, it was my first time trying the Club Sandwich, which will go to battle against any other fast food Sandwich in business! It was also my first time trying the smokey grilled wrap which was amazing!
Update 8-1 /24 Their salads are Awesome!
